Nah, Travis is the lead male role. I looked it up. The dude has been in a bunch of movies I've seen....Blow being one of them. True story....My best friend from my youth his father grew up in Weymouth, MA and was good friends with the gentleman that the movie Blow was based on. So that must be where I know him from lol

Is it good or bad that I'm rooting for the producers to have the balls to kill off the entire group of main characters here? I mean it's a prequel they technically can do whatever they want.

So, every season start over fresh with new characters? Hmmm? Good stepping stone for beginning actors.

The best laid plans of mice and men are apparently no match for Wolves with access to a loud horn.

I guess Black and White = "Then"? and color film = "The Present"?

Everthing's going as planned, Rick! We've kept the herd together and we're beginning to move them out of...[HOOOOOOOONK!]

LOL! If that little son of a bitch Ron is laying on a semi horn to prove that Rick is a failure for shooting his dad in the face, I'm gonna KILL HIM!~

Maybe. The Wolves were the obvious choice and I thought of a random accident involving a horn but hadn't considered Ron. Still I don't think Ron would risk Alexandrite (and his mother) just to show up Rick...though maybe if he thought the walls would hold.

Maybe another possibility is that they're having a rave back in Alexandria, playing some MLG, and the bass is out-of-whack on their speakers?

Holy JC - that was the most exciting TWD episode since the governor's raid on the prison!

Still there was a lot I frankly didn't understand, who was the girl? I vaguely remember her from last season but don't remember her backstory. Is she working with the bad guys or something?

Bro, Carol was a fucking machine. Even more than when she rescued everyone from Terminus. She didn't break a sweat the whole time and was a stone-cold killer.

The thing I couldn't totally figure out was that everyone was pretty non-chalant about the raid, as though they knew they'd have no problem taking care of the raiders, even though there was no real plan in place in the event of an attack other than to run around shooting and they were severely depleted of personnel due to everyone being out on the mission. Like in the infirmary the doctor was very matter-of-factly "go out and check to see if it's over yet."

Also, for all the firearms that are liberally available everywhere, how were the Wolves unable to acquire so much as a revolver before the raid? Maybe they're like a radical gun control group from Canada.

Carol has been one of my favorites before she became the bad ass that we know her as today. Her character has had the most development than any other character. I am afraid that makes her prime fodder for the writers of the show...I hope I am wrong, but that is how they grab you. They get you emotionally invested in somebody, and since the series is ending soon, I imagine that Carol is probably going to have some type of gut wrenching demise.

Carol went from a quietly meek housewife being beaten by her asshole husband, to a woman that wants to help the group by studying medical books and performing field medicine, to an antihero who tried to fill in the void in leadership from Rick's crazy spell after his wife died, to humbly accepting her banishment from the group (via Rick) and surviving all by her lonesome, to rushing in to save the group from Terminus and being welcomed back into the group, and now being the perfect "housewife" mole that can bake you lasagna out of 3 year old noodles and Ragu sauce...all the while not flinching if she has to put you out of your misery. And then to top it all off...she shed a tear, because she really does hate the world she is in, but those are the cards she's dealt...so suck it up!

Carol is the truth of the world of the Walking Dead. She could do what a lot of other people have done. She could have cowered behind a tree, or let the death of her daughter make her bat shit crazy...but she endured. She endured by realizing the world is what it is and you won't make it any better if you just lay down and die. She's a hot old lady, and all I have to say is that Daryl must be a homosexual if he never banged her.

In this episode, Carol donned a Wolves outfit and protected Alexandria through subterfuge. She looked so damn cool in that "Assassin"-like hoodie and cloth wrapped around her nose and mouth. Makes me question "What the f*ck is Morgan even doing here?"

I knew the Wolves were going to attack, but I didn't think they were making their move right away like this.

And, yes, I think JSS is with the Wolves as she hinted at it during the conversation with Carl in the house, but Carl didn't catch on to her hint. That's why she was saying goodbye...she was working with the Wolves and I think that guy that Glen saved and had mercy on was working for them as well...he had pictures of the whole perimeter of the wall fortification.

Anyway, it was a great episode; but I was just disappointed in Morgan. I am not sure how he will make it with the group, since they tend to just kill off any opposition and he seems to want to play the Zen Buddhist wandering monk with an apparent broom handle that can sever a Walker's cerebral cortex.

That's an improvised bo staff that's been sharpened at one end for better penetration *Let's the more juvenile get their laughs out* . Carol ducked up by not even trying to save one for interrogation. The Wolves didn't get the pictures from...Nathan...is that the name of the guy who attacked Glen? They got it when the recon guy left his bag behind in one of their traps.

With the exception of Ricks new girlfriend, the residents of Alexandrite looked even more useless than I thought they were. It's like being in a zombie apocalypse made them even more inept at defending themselves than the average person today. Sheeple. Why don't the wolves have guns? Possibly part of their culture? Or just convenient plot device?

j/k, actually, if you read the book, you would know they were eating the other guy who fell on top of him and that Glenn fells directly on an uncovered manhole and survives in the sewers hurt but not bit. Then he meets up with the new main character 'Splinter' who is a martial arts master and uses his cane as a bo-staff except hidden under the wooden sheath is a long-blade dagger. Splinter takes Glenn under his wing and nurses him back to health basically as if Glenn were his own child. Later on Morgan and Splinter have a total 'student-master' moment, but then Morgan's weakness causes them to split ways each founding their own new form of bo-bit-su.

Theory: So a major theme of The Walking Dead over the last 4 seasons (and a bit into season 1 and 2) is the mirror images of the main group. Ones that illustrate what they could become, what they could have been and what keeps them from becoming that way. This is why the human threat has replaced the zombies as the major threats in the story line. Going along this line, could The Wolves or at least their founding members be remnants of a group similar to that in Alexandria? At some point they were destroyed from the outside because the isolation from the actual zombies caused them to become weak and the survivors in their crazed belief not to repeat that mistake came to believe that these protected areas were bad for people? It could be why they actively attack major camps like Noah's and now Alexandria. Kill most of them and take the remaining survivors and see who is capable of coming around to their P.O.V. through whatever means necessary.

The girl was there last season and she was a pseudo love-interest for Carl.

It was odd how they went back to show how she wound up in Alexandria.

It was also potentially misleading. You are not the only one supposing she may be working with the Wolves.

She said something to Carl like; "... that's how we got in."
It's potentially a reference to how her and Carl got outside and back inside the wall.
Other's have suggested it's also possible the "we" is a reference to her and the Wolves, and that she is part of the Wolves.

The funny thing is that the Wolves seem like they have very little coordination, and very low aims. Why are they just going in and raiding some kitchens??? Why not take over the facility???

I don't recall that from the Trades. Did it just happen or are you joking?

Even if it happened in the books, we know that the show doesn't mirror the books exactly, so it's not guaranteed.

At first I thought Glenn was under the other dude too... and he was going to crawl away under a few Walkers, and then be able to escape. After a few seconds though it seemed like that was less likely to be true. Why would he be screaming like that, if that wasn't his guts being eaten.

I wouldn't mind if they let Glenn get away right at that moment. It kinda would've been cool.

Now, if they say he escaped, I'd almost wanna call "bullshit" on the whole thing. He died. If the producers / show runners looked at feedback last night, and changed their minds, I'd think it's a cop-out. Don't get me wrong, I love Glenn, he was one of my favorite characters... but you can't always get away. Some people have to die.

I wanted to call "bullshit" when Glenn fought his way back from being betrayed outside the wall at Alexandria. I thought that was really unlikely. If they let Glenn live after this episode...I would begin to think that the writing staff is just totally fucking with the audience. When Glenn looks down and sees the Walkers eating the guts and Glenn is screaming is the point where I knew he was really done and he actually had no chance of escape this time. Now, we have to wait for Maggie to come to terms with her husbands death and being left totally alone with the group being her only "family". I am wondering if Maggie and Carol will both become the "dynamic duo" of sorts. Carol understands being left all alone, and having the group be her family...and sometimes having nobody else but yourself to trust.

Oh yeah, I switched my favorite character on the Poll to Carol now. Daryl's character has lost his depth, and he seems a bit "creepy" as well.

I've looked over the evidence, and although you can't see Nicholas' body strung across Glenn's...the hint may still be there.

One thing that seemed unusual to me when i saw this episode was how the Walkers were getting intestines out of Glenn's chest so fast with out really digging in deep? I mean, the Walkers usually don't claw your sternum open? When ever you see people that have been eaten up by Walkers, their abdomen is always vacated. Why? Because it's the softest most unprotected part of the body. Why would the Walkers go for Glenn's chest? And if that is indeed Glenn's chest they are ripping into...why did the director allow INTESTINES to be pulled out?

Nope. Something is not right here. I think we are being played!
