unvote Can't put my finger on it, but something is fishy. I am going to look at the website where Epi took the roles from, to see if I can find out why Soldier would be so reluctant to claim anything.

He has not stating anything about set up so it would be pure speculation on your part. The website is not very helpful to determine what roles would be used.

Soldier not posting only hurts town

Yup, after reading I realise that too. So, I am putting my vote back in place.

vote Soldier

Soldier, I could understand your position if only a few people were asking you to claim. However, the majority of us is Town, so if we all think it's a good idea for you to claim your role, why would you ignore that? It's not you vs mafia, it's Town vs mafia. Doesn't that count for something?

Why were you so reluctant to claim vt?

I'll be posting my full thoughts tomorrow.

Nope, I am not going to take my vote away, because I don't understand what all the fuss was about if you really are a Vanilla Townie. You could have said that way earlier and then I would probably have believed you. Right now it looks as if you're mafia, waiting as long as possible with your claim to see if Town is willing to lynch Tim or someone else instead of you.

Soldier4Christ wrote:I understand exactly how to play this game, if you did you would understand where I'm coming from. Then again I play highly competitive games of Mafia not on this website. Lynch if you must, the only way you may learn.

You said you're an experienced player, so I am judging you accordingly. I can understand that a beginner is not sure about claiming / not claiming, but an experienced player should know what is best for Town.

Soldier, I guess it is a good thing you claimed, but it seems too little too late now. You said you are an experienced player and that you knew what you were doing in not claiming, yet then you crumbled and claimed. Effectively you put yourself in a position where you were damned if you did and damned if you didn't. That's strikes me as way too complicated if you really are VT, so I don't believe it. I'm leaving my vote in place.

I don't really buy into this, because this is supposed to be a basic noob game. I wouldn't expect any tricky roles.

I think you are fibbing about "competitive mafia" whatever that is. All mafia is competitive.

had it not been for his claim of playing competitive mafia, think i may have believed him, maybe he was unsure whether to claim or not. sorry soldier cannot see a good reason why you should not now be lynched.

Soldier - Patrick, Aladdin, Tim, bos, whiterose*, risky (LYNCH)

*WR, this is the last time I count your vote if you haven't unvoted. It's better that we clear this up now rather than at the end of the game.

SCENE

The residents gathered in the town square and decided that something had to be done. They had to figure out who was in the mafia pronto. They would go out on a limb a lynch someone right away, and risk killing an innocent townie, just for the chance of taking out a baddie straight away.

After deliberating it for a bit, they decided go after the one who was a soldier. Surely, he had killing on his mind.

Wow, I didn't realize that the lynching would happen early if there were six votes. What if someone had wanted to change or unvote in the final hour or so? That caught me a little off-guard, I have to say.

Pity about lynching a VT - that was my fear right at the beginning. I have to say that Soldier didn't do a great job of appearing innocent though.

Uh oh, I think I heard a noise at the back door...
