The difference is I chose a series (Pokemon can be any) while you chose an exact character. That's the difference, Dark Magician is an evil character... you could confirm a YuGiOh card, but why the evil character is what bothers me.

Possibly, wiki says Yugi used Dark Magician to defeat a ghoul. But still, why go and claim anything dark in a game which doesn't have dark/light factions? Just saying.

You're inferring information that is not there. Either you are over analysing things unnecessarily, or you are doing so on purpose to sow discord.

You can't claim Kwan to be firm without backing that statement up with anything.
