If you define young as 30-40’s then yeah. It’s not about screen size, it’s about convenience. People are on their phone a lot. They like notifications. Even me who prefers to play on my Mac computer w a large screen still spends 75% of my time on CC on my mobile due to convenience.
It’s also helping the decline, almost ALL growth in gaming is on mobile. It’s insanely ridiculous. CC will continue declining until it innovates. If it doesn’t innovate, it’ll go the way of toys r us and others who failed to adapt to a mobile / online industry. (While totally different the premise is the same - failing to adapt)
Gaming and in particular GROWTH within gaming is on mobile. I venture to say if CC did mobile, and did it right, we would be seeing steady growth, not decline.
I guess. I get that it's happening. I just don't get why. I can't comprehend why people would want to strain their eyes to see things on those tiny little screens. Once in a while, if it's a REALLY slow day at work, I'll read a wikipedia article on my work phone. (I won't waste the money for a data plan on my personal phone, but since my employers have already wasted the money, I figure it's no great crime to use it.) That's mostly text, though. If I come across something complicated like a structural diagram, I'll wait until I get home to see it on a real screen.
Anyway, that's just me bitching about the modern world, which I hate. You don't have to answer; I know my incompatibility with the world is largely an irrelevant digression here.
