Nut. This whole thing is dodgy af. People are so willing to switch over to Masket for dodgy reasoning without even looking at his gamestyle(and at the same damn time excusing dakky for something because "that's how dakky plays"), meanwhile they won't even consider or really acknowledge hotshot and picking masket over Thor who has acted worse. Doesn't make sense in the slightest. It only makes sense that we have people either covering for their buddies or they are trying to take out one of the better players early.

I'd much rather be voting hotshot or dakky, however I am forced to switch over to Thor. For starters, I find it weird that he seemed so adament on his no-lynch ideas yet switched over to masket in the manner in which he did; further the fact that most of the people I trust least happen to be voting masket over him.

The point is to get a claim and then retreat to avoid Mitch's hammer as it often happens. Mitch would hammer his own (insert family member here) if he had a chance.

I know I basically said I would bail out of the MM case if I could and we were both scum, so what I'm about to do may look fishy, but I'll Unvote. I probably should have done it earlier, but I was affraid of how it would look like, getting out when it starts getting traction (and now it's probably only worse), but I am not confident in my vote enough anymore. I'd rather risk getting lynched for that than continuing to vote for someone that fell down my possible scum list. The last few votes, I've seen clunky reasoning at best and the other players I'm most suspicious of hop into the wagon, so I believe MM might not be as scummy as I first thought.
That being said, I do hope to see MM participate more on D2 (if he gets there).
At this point, I would 100% vote for HotShot, but I think we'd run out of time if we go this way. Thor is a loose canon. I already said I'm not confident he's scum, but I'd say he's the one town can afford the most to lose (from the limited pool of options available).
- He will surely continue doing dumb shit on the following day(s), and I see him as the type to hammer in before a proper claim is made, so even if he is town as he pretends, he might still be a liability to town.
- He claimed no useful power to town and already outed him as a night kill target for scum.
- Also, I find the way he hoped in the MM bandwagon fishy.

The problem with Masket vs Hotshot is that Masket, imo, has proven to be the far deadlier player no matter which alignment. If he's scum, that's ALOT of breathing room on our end, if not, doc will just have to protect him in the mean time. Hotshot on the other hand, well, you pretty much just eliminated the reasoning as to why I wouldn't want to pursue him. The same thing has applied to the likes of DJfireside.
(I'm going to assume one of the elves is present in this, the one that I think it was Kili that wanted to pork her).

I kinda forgot the point I wanted to make with this quote when I wrote my post, which is why I needed to quote it again.
Advocating for getting rid of good players because they're good is only valid if you want to go for MVP or you KNOW they're not in the same team as you. If you're scum, maybe you do ;P, so scum may have more of an incentive to vote for MM. That is, if MM is not scum himself of course.

After finding out that your Thor vote didn't count because you forgot to unvote, you take your current vote off of the 6-vote bandwagon on Masket and, instead of fixing your Thor vote (which would have made 6 votes), you place the only current vote on HotShot because you think it'll be quicker to first get a claim from him and then switch to Thor??? While there are a lot of folks interested in HotShot, even Skoffin is currently voting for Thor.

While I could have understood a HotShot vote either earlier (when Skoffin was first trying to get support) or later (after Thor is pressured to claim), the timing of this vote is questionable.
