1. Mets-Its hard to believe Mets would hard defend his scumbuddy this much but it's also hard to believe he could be this dense towards all of JFM's latest bullshit to keep defending him. I didn't see the case against him day 1 but his continued play is odd to me.

I stopped defending jfm a while ago. All I said recently was that people should give him some time to attempt to verify his theory about a day doctor healing blacky before lynching him, since we still had a couple days before the deadline. Hardly counts as defending him. By the time I saw his latest update about claiming to be town assassin, he had already been hammered.

Ragian was even more firm in his choice not to go after jfm than I was, so you should look at him too if you're going to look at me.

I stick with Tobi as a top candidate under those circumstances too though Mets' odd timed vote on Tobi doesnt quite seem to fit if both are scum.

I voted Tobi because Sirius was (correctly) calling people out for not even having a vote placed, so I decided to do my part and make known what my stance is. It didn't mean anything more than that.

The day doc thing was ridiculous as Tobi and others correctly pointed out. Your vote was empty and made little sense with the timing. Even if you believed JFM at that point, Tobi was removed from anything to do with any cases that actually had importance at the time. Yes you've stopped defending him now when he's dead in the water but at this point just looks like damage control. Not oops I was wrong to defend him.

On the way to finding my prey, I got bumped, but then kept going until I found my prey....whatever that implies. There was no indication that my action was successful, which to me implies that my target did not him/herself take any action last night. This could mean they are scum, if you believe that only one of the scum executes a hit, and my choice wasn't that individual. Or, there are other possibilities.

Waiting to hear if any positive or negative events happened last night, which could have been caused by my mis-direction last night. I'll fess up who once hear from folks.

Also, it might be useful to hear from a variety of folks about their interpretation of all that the mod said in the End of Day 2 scene. To be honest, jfm confused the hell out of me. And, the mod implied that we did not learn all we could from N1.

I don't intend to fight you. (Although you mentioned maybe wanting to fight me, so we'll see.) After jfm's day 2 comments he was the obvious choice for the lynch, and honestly I consider the people who thought him town still or simply didn't want to burn their hands voting for him (i.e. Pika, Mets, Ragian) to be way more scummy.
Kinda obvious I take this stance seeing as I voted jfm too without much second thought, but there you have it.

No nightkill again but the doc was busy healing Blacky... Did anyone get a message that they were attacked? I didn't.


Regarding jfm's play this game, let's just note the things that he did:
- as town, falsely claim to be a protective role with no incentive
- pushing (probably) the real protective town role into claiming
- trying to kill someone they thought were town during N1
- forcing town doc's night action to be wasted on healing that person
- trying to get the guy who counterclaimed his own fake claim lynched
This is just assholery. I really don't care if there were credits to be earned, you jeopardize your own win chances and those of the majority of players with this. That's the last I'll say on the matter.

But I recognized a wagon that was primarily based not on "this person's actions are evidence that he is scum," but rather based on "I don't like this person's actions," and I chose not to join that. aage's point sums it up perfectly: he voted for jfm because he was being an asshole, not because he was scumhunting. That seems to have been true for most of you too. I'm noting who is choosing not to own up to that, and who is actively defending that decision. And I'm especially noting the people who somehow think that those of us who weren't stupid enough to join a shitty wagon are scummy.

I still don't understand why do I get the confirmation when the role clearly states - when hidden all actions directed towards me will be void - with that said, I don't think even a role-blocker could block the hiding? Hide should be first then all other actions, right?

I'm saying that because of the SW and blacky and the whole poisoning thing... perhaps someone has poison as passive ability, in example whoever visits you at night gets poisoned. That would explain why blacky got poisoned in the first place, if he visited the poisoner. Jfm was full of crap and now I don't believe that his vig action was to poison and then tell who to heal. What kind of Vigilante has a delayed kill with a possibility to retract it by telling the doctor who to heal? Complete and nonsense bullshit. I mean, if blacky got the message that he was poisoned, he would say it in the thread anyway and it would be up to doctor whether to heal him or not, not the Vig himself.

So perhaps Jfm lied about his role at the end of the day 2, about being a vigilante with a poison, and maybe the whole story about poison is going in a wrong direction.

This I don't agree with. jfm's play was shitty for a towny, yes, but we didn't know that he was a towny. His play and his claims simply made no sense for a town player. I like to assume that I'm playing with reasonable people, and I figured he couldn't be town if he were reasonable. If he did turn out to be town, I considered it an acceptable loss because his play was utterly unreasonable. I basically said as much when I voted him:

To be fair to Mets, SW did say he would go after Mets whether jfm flipped town or scum, but I don't like that he's already trying to misuse my reasoning as a shield.

Regarding Dakky, his theory about another poisoner being in the game is... dumb. I don't have a real town read on him, maybe I'm letting him fly under the radar with his commuter claim.
