OK, I was leaning towards Pika being scum for some time. Notably, I haven't seen him scum hunt at all. The exchange he linked above was him trying to muddle waters based on me misrembering some things (yes, as I stated before, I typed that without doing my own research and came off points 1 and 2 - rookie mistake) and not scum hunting at all. Now, he and chapcrap are trying to start a bandwagon against me, probably the most likely town on many lists.

I haven't targeted pika yet because I had more interesting prey to pursue. Now, I think I must be getting close to outing one of their scum brothers so they are taking it upon themselves to try and get rid of/discredit me.

Either way I am 100% certain there are at least 2 non-town sides that are not 'together', and for the rest of the game I will be treating it as fact.
Now you're starting to wonder? You hypothesized this all the way back on the first page of the game:
Skoffin wrote:My guess would be 4 scum players; question would be whether they will all be on the same side.
That was before any actions could have been performed, so the only information you had was your role PM. Perhaps you're on one of these scum teams?
As this day goes on, I found myself agreeing more and more with Skoffin's theory that there are more than 1 Scum Team acting independently.

That being said, has anybody played that type of game before? Also, wouldn't game mechanics lead to there being more scum than normal since they are divided. I think 2 3-man teams more likely than 2-man teams. There's probably an SK also. That would leave 9 townies. No wonder so many people seem scummy!

With 2 teams, isn't it possible to be able to get to LyLo with only 2 town left? 4 Players - 2 Townies, 1 from Mafia Team Alpha, and 1 from Mafia Team Bravo. Any team could still win in this scenario, correct?

How do you Forum Search by Post Author?

When I type in someone's name, I only get posts where they are mentioned, not posts that they wrote.

@TX there is a script for that, ask dgz345 for it. Or just use this template link and change the Author part in it:

Well that was quite the reaction.
Who do you think has you as Town? Who on my supposed scum team are you close to outing?

So you're the most Town-sided person ever who everybody thinks is Town but you can't actually point to a single person who thinks that, and I'm against you because you're so close to outing my scum partner who you also can't point to?

I'm not going to speak for anybody else. If they want to support me, they can. But, I'm not afraid of a lynching. I think most townies know I am one of them.

I have no way to prove it at this time, but I can also tell you it is impossible for anybody to prove I am scum; because I am town - period.

So basically you're the 3rd to claim not being able to be scanned, visited or whatever? Why do I have a feeling that a lot of roles had "hide" and "do something" action? Maybe that's the reason why no night kills?

No, that post is clearly saying that an investigation could not come back scum because he is not scum.

About the claims. Yes they're incredibly similar. However, something that occured to me is the bonus action. In my case at least, my role matches up my special ability, and not my regular night action. If that's the case with skoff and dakky as well, they wouldn't technically be duplicate roles.

Another thing that is making me doubt voting dakky based on skoff's claim are shennanigans that happened with my action N1 that could be explained by skoff having a slightly different role (I believe my action has been "stolen" N1 and that could be explained by either someone targetting me or as an ability of my target (in that case skoff).

One reason I would vote dakky is why and how he blurted out his claim for no reason during D1 and D2, and how he actively discouraged anyone from targetting him. Had it been from anyone else I would have my vote on them, but dakky is known for these kinds of brain spasms in regards to role-claiming so I don't know. Moreover, what strike said about rage is mostly true for dakky. He basically claimed bulletproof equivalent so scum can only get rid of him by lynching him. If town, if he gets on with scumhunting he could be a great asset.

All in all I'm not ready to lynch dakky because I'm not confident enough on my read, and not ready to speedlynch anybody else. You can try to convince me on the 1st point, I won't change my mind on the second after the D1 fiasco.

PS I hope there aren't separate mafia factions, it makes voting patterns even harder to read

LOL, not claiming that at all. I am emphatically saying it is impossible for anybody to prove I am scum, because I am not.

Apoligize for the mess, but the point is, does Raz tend to hand out a lot of bulletproof roles? Do people like to claim bulletproof? It seems awfully popular for some reason.

Originally I thought my target had poisoned me so I did not want to reveal who it was, however since jfm claimed (in a roundabout way) that he was my attacker, I reread the pm from the mod and the wording was that on my way to my target I was bumped into and I felt a pain in my side... so my target was not my poisoner but probably jfm or someone else.

No, I dont think i bumped in to anything, i was swimming and i felt a pain on my side
Which one is it?
Blacky,

Exact wording would be helpful here. Can you copy and paste?
More and more, I feel like TX is scummy.

FP'd
Why,

Because I have been pointing at you since Day1?

Blacky's wording was inconsistent as ZaBeast pointed out. Honest mistake or scum slip? Knowing exactly what was said from Mod (if anything) will help us determine that.
No. I actually feel good about you pointing at me, because your posts against people have not had a single ounce of substance. You are scummy because you've been given too much leash as a newbie. The post I quoted is another blatant attempt at fishing. Not to mention, we are specifically told to NOT copy and paste.

Who on earth do you think you're getting close to outing? You haven't presented a case, let alone a meaningful case, against a single person. Double and triple posting doesn't make what you are saying meaningful.

 Is this real life? Anyway, I'm done with you right now.

This is why I think I'm going to vote dakky. He is highly discouraging visitors even though he also claims that he would get some kind of information on those who visit. Why wouldn't you want to be visited? It would be GREAT if scum visited you as a townie. If it's a waste of a night action and you get information. It doesn't make sense.

I think we need to lynch today and I think dakky's actions haven't made sense. vote dakky

Thanks Chap,

I reread the Standard Mafia Rules and see where you cautioned against cutting and pasting.

However, when I reread things to note, I found this:
The only info from us you are allowed to use in this thread is the Role PM and any night action results
.

Based on that, couldn't Blacky Cut and Paste what happened to him N1?

That's because of posts like that I'm not sold on you being town (to be fair, I only have strike as town read, most of the other ones I'm neutral about). Everybody can come up with posts like that to make it look like they're active without contributing to anything meaningful. Tone the speculations on the setup and the links to how roles work (if people don't know what bulletproof is they can use google as well as you), and start with the scumhunting.
And to clarify, I said he claimed bulletproof equivalent (that is, that he couldn't be killed at night), not that he claimed bulletproof.

(quote-ception edited out)
I fail to see how that is fishing though. What would the exact wording tell you about the role of anybody, especially given that the poisoner was probably jfm? I think what blacky said is enough though. He didn't bump into anybody, but someone bumped into him and he felt a sharp pain.

They don't contradict each other. You can talk about your night action results or role but can't quote it directly.
