The public safety and welfare of a state’s residents are the fundamental responsibilities of every governor. The governor coordinates state resources and provides the strategic guidance for response to
all types of incidents. This includes supporting local governments, as needed, and coordinating assistance with other states and the Federal Government. A governor also does the following during response:
- In accordance with state law, may make, amend, or suspend certain orders or regulations associated with response efforts;
- Coordinates with tribal governments within the state; and
- Commands the state military forces (National Guard personnel not in federal service and state defense forces).
The Federal Government becomes involved with a response only when federal interests are involved; when local, state, tribal, territorial, or insular resources are insufficient and federal assistance is requested; or as authorized or required by statute, regulation, or policy.

Saxi, you have perhaps a day if you want to use these suggested goalposts before it becomes outdated, as we're now up to 18 per million, just about smaller than the lightning strikes per year.

If no one replied to your post the first time around, that's a good indicator it was too dull to merit a response. Sorry. Life's rough.

In Mass. most people have private electricity... but some towns have Municipal Energy Plants. Some are well run and some are not.
Electricity generation and transmission even when private is highly subsidized and uses public land for the poles and such... it’s impractical with today’s technology to be a entirely private without some sort of gov’t regulation.

Under the National Response Framework, states and tribal areas are responsible for managing disaster response within their sovereign territory while the federal government acts in a supporting role only. The public safety and welfare of a state’s residents are the fundamental responsibilities of every governor. This is why Rat states tend to be suffering the most during COVID-19, as they are generally run by boobs and amateurs. This is also why Trump Party states are suffering less, as they are run by highly competent, professional managers.
When you put bartenders at Mexican restaurants in charge of the government, you get the exact type of government you deserve. At the last election, New Yorkers chose the type of pandemic response they'd like and now they're getting the exact response they chose. At the next election, the survivors can choose someone else to run the government if they're not satisfied with what Albany delivered. Or not. I don't care.

The mayor of Berlin, Michael Müller, accused Mr Trump of “lacking solidarity” and behaving “irresponsibly”.
According to Tagesspiegel the Berlin police had ordered the masks from 3M. They were produced in a 3M factory in China and were due to be reloaded at Bangkok airport and flown to Germany. Instead the delivery went straight to the US.

In France, for example, regional leaders say they are struggling to secure medical supplies as American buyers outbid them.
"I found a stock of masks that was available and Americans outbid us," Ms Pécresse said. "They offered three times the price and they proposed to pay up-front."

I am the Lord your God king of endless glory! I come from on High to speak to you.
My glory is from my Father the creator of all the living. I am who I say I am, Lord of Heaven and earth of all that is above and all that is below. I am the Lord God sent to save people’s souls from all sin and death.
There is a worst death then death itself. The death of eternal pain and fire that cannot be put out. I do not send people to Hell. People have already made that decision before my return. I tell them what they have already decided.
I see all hearts. I know what is in every heart. I judge what is in people’s hearts. I am the gatekeeper, I let those through the gate whose hearts are pure and clean.
My coming will surprise many people that will be unprepared for my coming. Do not wait to come to me, time is not a luxury anymore as once thought. My coming will come and all will be seen, the good and the bad alike.
The virus will end soon. Come to me and I will lead you. I am like a Father who loves his children. I see everything, nothing passes my sight. I call all to pray and come back to me now while time is still there. I call my people to me.
Go in my love and my mercy.

The new Decree-Law was set into force within hours and 3M redirected a shipment of masks about to take-off from Thailand that had been purchased by the Berlin Police to the United States where they will be distributed for the benefit of Americans instead. The mayor of Berlin, Michael Müller, accused Mr Trump of “lacking solidarity” and behaving “irresponsibly”.

Tough luck, Herr Müller!
Strength through Unity. Unity through Trump.

Yet another reason why we must strive toward's jimboston's Marxist vision of a society with no government infrastructure.

Wait. So because a couple people post a crazy conspiracy theory about Trump...that immediately discredits any and all criticisms not matter how legitimate or well reasoned? Ok.
Thanks. I thought it only discredited the crazy conspiracy theorists themselves. What a dummy I am!
