What saxi FAILS TO REALIZE and/or fails to publicize is that the Science GUIDES policy; also, our public health policy is dynamic enough to "Follow the Science" and adapt to the virus mutations and to the changing situations. The COVID disease changes as the virus mutates; and so do the responses RECOMMENDED by those leading the effort to fight the disease. Follow the Science and realize that this situation is NOVEL, is FLUID, and our medical system is monitoring and adjusting to the demands of this fight.

Thank Goodness and Thank God that we have many dedicated and hard-working medical people researching this disease and the responses to it. AND Thank God for all the WONDERFUL health field workers who CARE for the sick, whether the patients are VACCINATED or NOT. Those who are foolish enough NOT to get vaccinated are not doing their part to "Flatten the Curve." They ARE THE CURVE and the CURVE is getting more curved; i.e., the number of cases is growing, AGAIN, and around 90% of the news COVID cases are among the UNVACCINATED.

Hi All,

Im not here to change your view. Just share my experience. I had my second shpt of Pfizer today. First shot gave me headache for 24 hrs hours. No reaction yet to second shot (other than the sore arm that i think everyone gets with any vaccine).

My body will now have seen the 'spike protein' that COVID exhibits and will therefore hopefully attack it more effectively than if i was not vaccinated should i come into contact with COVID. Heres praying it results in less symptoms as seems to be the case.

The symptoms of COVID on a good slab of the population whos bodys seems unable to fight it off are significant. Not just death (for a small minority) but even the non-terminal patients are not suggesting its fun. And then you have those with long-COVID.

Of course there are risks with any vaccine, particularly a novel vaccine, but i personally thought these risks lower than the alternative.

- If you are none of those things, but have (a) a Vitamin D deficiency (like about 40% of the population), and (b) can't limit your public exposure for the next 90 days to erase your deficiency through supplementation, this is also true and vaccination is the best course of action.

- Otherwise, you are merely buying yourself a few months of dropping your risk of serious COVID-19 symptoms from 0.09% to 0.02%. And, in exchange, you are helping the virus accelerate the rate of natural, virus-evading mutation into more pathogenic forms which will require ever more aggressive, largescale, population-wide drug interventions. Viruses rely on a host to survive and replicate. They invade the body of a human or an animal and bind with the host’s cells to allow their own genetic material (RNA) to enter the cells. The host’s own cells read the genetic code and replicate it, making more of the virus.

That new virus then leaves the cell in search of another host to infect.

Sometimes when that genetic code is being translated into proteins, a piece of the code gets changed. This is called a mutation, and they happen frequently.

“Human cells are DNA-based. And DNA – thankfully for us – has much better integrity than RNA. DNA has the ability to check itself. If there are small changes, or what we call mutations, to its genetic code, it can fix itself and get back to normal. RNA is a lot more messy,” Dr. Kasper said.

Great news! Despite not being vaccinated, Jacqueline Jackson didn't suffer a more severe reaction than Jesse. Both were hospitalized, but without a ventilator and both were discharged within the same week.

Seems like the vaccine is basically a placebo and Jackie was right to avoid it.
