The Who are good and so is Rush...i like Tom Sawyer from Rush
but that is not the point of this thread
the who are better live
first of all
half of the who is dead
also, can u name one other band that has over 18 different albums, not ocunting live stuff, re releases and greatest hits; and that has stayed the exact same for over 30 years!!
also they were voted best live band in canada for 10 years straight, over 14 times in all
any other bands who can compare to that
Alright, "half the who is dead" thats a low blow. If Kieth and John hadn't died they still would have been together completely. And to answer you question, Aerosmith has been the same for longer than that 34 years, and 27+ (I don't feel like counting all of them) albums, including most live and greatest hits stuff.
Also, its all about the qualilty of the music, not the quantity. For instance, Jimi Hendrix only relaesed 3 albums while alive: Are You Experienced? Axis Bold as Love, and Electric Ladyland, and he kicks Rush's ass. Rush has some talented players, but I just cannot stand Geddy Lee's voice. Niel Pert is amazing, but Kieth Moon was better (close). They are amazing muscians, but I just don't really like the music them make.
They were only rated the best live band in Canada for so many years because most of the greatest bands are from the UK. Rush only has to compete now with the likes of Avril Lavigne (sorry, you used a low blow, now its my turn).
