No, it's a sign of basic restraint. Using power wisely is the opposite of using it recklessly. Just because you can shoot anything that moves, doesn't mean you should.
He did shot something that moved.
Yes, after due consideration of the possibilities, as it should be. Not at the first impulse, as the hotheads would have preferred.
If it was threat enough to shoot down in the Atlantic it should have been dropped in the Pacific.
Two key points, it seems to me, is when did we know for sure it belonged to the Chinese and when did we get a clear idea of its likely purpose (weather, military, espionage or surveillance, or other). If surveillance, why use a balloon when satellites would be the "better" way? My understanding that is that it drifted over Canada before getting to Montana. What did the Canadiens know? And when did they understand what it is?

Haven't heard this. Do you have a link?
---------- The Spy Balloon, can be controlled remotely....It can stop and hover...Only 60,000 ft...Over key military and infrastructure positions...A clearer information than a Satellite... Example:...In Vietnam, did we use jet planes to drop or pick up troops on the ground quickly???....Or did we use, like a balloon, a craft that could stop on a dime, land , take off...Up and Down, ...Hover...

According to an Unnamed Official at an Unnamed Government Agency, 599,999 of the homeless were personally evicted by Donald Trump. The Unnamed Official says Trump visited each of their homes with a pair of pitbulls and chased them out, then took a shit on the doorstep as a warning for them not to come back. The Unnamed Official went on to report that Trump was assisted by the Russian cyborg spies from Mars that are lurking behind every bush waiting to seduce Jim's wife.
