In conclusion, COVID-19 vaccination was not associated with an increase of mortality or selected PVR-SAEs incidence.
These results were consistent across genders, age-classes, vaccine types, and SARS-CoV-2 infection status and did not vary in Cox models adjusting for age, gender, SARS-CoV-2 infection, and selected comorbidities. In the infected population, any dose of vaccine was associated with a lower likelihood of death and PVR-SAE.

I specifically did not comment on this controversial new study but showed how Saxi had missed conclusions in other studies that did not fit his agenda, in fact, I quoted findings the opposite of his advocacy that showed the lack of vaccinations would cause many more deaths.
This study he is attacking me with is still being evaluated.
'COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters for Young Adults: A Risk-Benefit Assessment and Five Ethical Arguments against Mandates at Universities' Its sponsorship by extreme anti-vaxers being a caution to trusting it without further research.
He doesn't mention that another large study with the opposite conclusion studying data from January 2021 to July 2022 was also published at about the same time.
COVID-19 Vaccination Did Not Increase the Risk of Potentially Related Serious Adverse Events: 18-Month Cohort Study in an Italian Province. In conclusion, COVID-19 vaccination was not associated with an increase of mortality or selected PVR-SAEs incidence.

Yes, anti-vaxers have latched onto that study indicating vaccine mandates for young healthy people are not a good policy. It may be true, but there are other studies that show the opposite. And this brushes away the many lives saved and illnesses avoided on not young, not healthy populations.

Past COVID infection 'as good as vaccines' at preventing severe illness
Previous COVID infection boosts long-term immunity and lowers the risk of hospitalisation and death at the same level as vaccination, new peer-reviewed research shows.
The study, led by the University of Washington and published by The Lancet medical journal, is said to be the "most comprehensive study to date" on the impact of natural immunity for the disease.

Here is the full text of the study: Lancet Medical Journal
They state in the summary that the effectiveness of prior infection is comparable to vaccination, though the data shown in Figure 4 suggests that prior infection is significantly better than vaccination after 4 months. This is quite consistent with the studies in Sweden and Israel that I linked to in this forum previously.

The Lancet is a far-north, bird positive publication that has zero credibility within the BARC community. Saxi's right about me, I cant trust publications like this that use pro-bird language like 'avian influenza' and 'bird flu'.

According to Gary, mookie, and JP4, though, medical journals like The Lancet* can't be trusted. Science is chronicled in all caps Facebook posts.

More fun facts:
There is a common misconception that the U.S. is the most litigious nation in the World. This is simply untrue. While it’s true that the U.S. has a large number of lawsuits crowding its courts each year, it barely cracks the Top 5 of most litigious countries in the world. In his book, “Exploring Global Landscapes of Litigation,” Christian Wollschlager notes that the litigation rates per 1,000 people shows that European nations top the list of the world’s most litigious countries. Here is a list of the top 5 most litigious countries by capita: 1. Germany: 123.2/1,000 2. Sweden: 111.2/1,000 3. Israel: 96.8/1,000 4. Austria: 95.9/1,000 5. U.S.: 74.5/1,000. The Top 10 also includes the UK (64.4); Denmark (62.5); Hungary (52.4); Portugal (40.7); and France (40.3).

I do not question reputable Medical Journals; what I question is your INTERPRETATION of what you think you have read. You take statements and ideas from them to twist them to fit your FAKE NEWS.

Yeah i struggled with that while writing it, since birds aren't real though any promotion of the bird narrative in society is effectively bird positive. Drones don't have feelings, you can't insult them and by associating them into pop-culture language you are effectively promoting fakebird culture. It's also just a joke.
To me it's never really been a question or surprise that natural immunity is a longer lasting and potentially stronger immunity than Covid vaccine based immunity. From the start I've felt mass vaccination was about preventing covid from taking a foothold and that battle is lost already. I'm pretty much in lock step with the idea the vaccine should only be used on high risk people who have a high chance of dying in the process of gaining 'natural immunity'.
