So is Sonic the recruiter - I don't think so. is he the converted one. Maybe.

Traf knows he can't cast me away as The Thing. Why, because he changed his story too many times and he said he believed i was town before. On D1. I think he said that because he wanted me to stop pointing at him. But i did not stop pointing at him. Although Im pretty sure If i did he would not be voting for me now..

So now he knows he has to steer the possible lynch away from him and he needs to find another victim. He already steered BT D1 away from him on Deg if you look back.

And i am his best bet to steer the lynch away at this moment. So he is going all-in on the "annoying playstyle argument". Which is the best argument on me yes. But not if you wanna win the game. You can ignore "annoying playstyle" or you can ask to stop posting or joining mafia games in the future even..

So lynching somebody on D2 (last real chance) for "annoying playstyle" reason only makes sense if you are trying to sell pudding. It's not wanting to win.

And Traf as The Thing, What else is there to do? On who to steer it now? Surely on me.

But Traf knows he can't sell me as "The recruiter" anymore after saying on D1 believing im town..(hoping i would stop pointing at him). So he comes up with a "recruit" bullshit story:

Traf just wants to steer it away from him and im the best option thats all. And his recruit is following him ofcourse. I think thats obvious to see?

Now here is what has been said before, but Sonic always ignores...
Sonic, at this point, even if you are town, the onus for any BT/lynch/vig of you, will be on you. Next game, if you are town, act like it!! (Or even if you are not, I guess...)

Hold on, Scummy how?? There is always going to be a gap between the lynch and the mod coming in and actually closing the day. Is everyone expected to be silent? I've never heard that or seen it practiced.

Btw, I'm not defending Traf. The only link I have with him is we are both opposed to Sonic for obvious reasons.
Since, I am not certain of Traf's towniness, I might even consider voting for the Traf lynch myself, if it came to that....
Though obviously, I find Sonic a more deserving candidate... and it still looks like I may have to facepalm myself the way things are going. (Btw, if anybody is not voting for Sonic just to see me slap myself, it is actually a metaphorical figure-of-speech. Sorry to disappoint.)

I mean I've made multiple "If ___ flips town then..." statements as town or scum and I don't really see mistaking the vote count as intrinsically scummy. So honestly, I was more annoyed about Son!c inflating another thing that feels like a non-issue than really seeing an alignment indicator. I think there is a good case on Traf and I don't think inflating it with what I view as non-issues actually helps. Enough non-issues built into a case and it starts to feel like Traf is being railroaded.

What I do find interesting is that Traf himself seems to claim that he didn't mistake the vote count and his statement was under the anticipation of someone speed hammering. And b. His choice of BT suggestions. I don't think Traf is someone likely to suggest BTing himself anyways so that part of Son!cs case also falls into the meh territory for me but if his choices are. I'm not cult and I haven't felt that Charle is Cult either. So is Traf Cult trying to avoid mentioning other Cult? Am I wrong and Charle is Cult who Traf is willing to sell out because he's likely to win if town lynches one of the recruits tomorrow (or maybe Traf plans on recruiting him?)? Or is Traf town and these are all his legitimate positions. Normally I'd lean #2 but we have to keep in mind that if Traf is Cult and Son!c town, he was also under pressure for being vigged over Night. I think this does put more pressure on him to keep his recruits name out of any spotlight.

I could be leaning too much in my town read on Charle but either way, we won't know until Traf and/or Son!c have died and we know their alignments.

Maybe I'm wrong but if the rules say "Lynch is reached when the votecount reaches majority", I dont post when it happens. I consider the night to have started at that point. Might just be due the automodded nature of the games I've played.

It varies by mod. Like Dega instituted a no talking policy but a lot of mods in the past here have stuck by the rule that you can talk until lynch scene is posted.

If a lynch occurs, even if I'm unavailable, it's considered "End of day, scene coming" and I'd prefer if you guys withheld from posting until the following day. Bit more lax about it if I'm not around to make the vote count/make the scene, etc.

I announced no talking once I had posted that the lynch had occurred, but not before. Especially since there were some vote manipulation mechanics in play. That may not be a factor here, but my opinion is that unless the mod says otherwise, it's fine to post up until the mod announces that it's night.

You are not gonna flip town so this "no vig today" is just more Thing pudding.

Besides you know im not The Thing and you are voting for me on D2 saying im "maybe the recruit". That is called a"last straw" Traf. The explanation is: you are voting me because you think you and your recruit can only reach 5 votes on me... Because of the "annoying playstyle".

You hoped to get Strike and Deg on board on your "Thingwagon" because of it. But that is not searching The Thing, that is just searching a way to survive... being The Thing itself and lynching a townie (as you call it "a maybe recruit"). Saying "it's not a great loss to lose townie SoN!c as he was not helping town anyways".. For this reason alone you should be lynched. It's the end of D2 and we don't have D3 names so this is the last chance to get The Thing.

Vots other post seemed a bit anxious about being connected to Traf as well.

My choice for our vig would still be Lynch Traf/Son!c vig the other if they flip town. If our lynch choice flips recruiter then I'd opt for no vig. Traf=Recruiter than Bt Vot tomorrow. If Son!c flips recruiter then I'm Less certain on who to BT. If both flip town then I'd be in favor of EW or Swang for the BT.

It could have just been a poor choice of words by Rag. strike didn't react to the word choice, and seemed to treat it as asking for his preference, not his action. I'm not sure why you think this changes the likelyhood of strike being recruiter. The only thing we do know is that Rag was not recruited.
