I think you are probably right on this, Duk (not gone away). I have not given that much thought, but I am sure you are correct. I think Muslims have lots of Christian slaves now; and I did not think much beyond that. (The origin of the word "slave" is Slav.)

I am curious of those slaves you met, Duk. Were they construction workers? domestics (in the house)? all types?
