I wasn't planning on submarining. Due to the "Must denounce or be Modkilled" rule, I decided it would be best if I actually posted something before making my compulsory denunciation, thus avoiding the associated scummyness that accompanies voting without posting.

I was never very good at this 'first day; accuse and lynch someone random for the hell of it' thing, so I am more or less waiting until something especially scummy pops out of the woodwork (or just voting to avoid Modkilling). Once some solid evidence is gained about the scummyness of cetain players, then I will start throwing around accusations, but, for now, like the majority of players, I am quite content to wait for evidence before getting anyone lynched.

No, not necessilary. If LSU's accusation had been against another player and had gained support, I certainly wouldn't have agreed with it, no matter how much the player in question was trying to kill me. If there is some solid evidence on the table, then I will vote, but if there isn't, I won't, no matter how scummy it makes me look.

One of the most irritating things about Batman Mafia (even though it was a great game) was the constant stream of deadbeats. Since this game looks to be going the same way (a few people are only posting a little) I decided that I didn't want to be one of those people who had to be constantly prodded to post. Add this to the wish (oddly) not to be wanted to be considered scummy for only posting to vote and you have yourself a fully fledged reason to post.
I know the post contained a rather small amount of information, but, on day one, this is to be expected.

I'm still not sure why I have been singled out for poor post quality. I am seeing a destinct lack of accusations against anyone (other than this one, a few joking 'let's kill Fircoal' posts and wicked and mandy's eternal debate). Please, no double standards; if you are going to lynch me for poor post quality, then you have to do 3/4 of the people in this game as well.

People are looking for anything on Day 1, but truth is, unless it's a total noob, you're not going to get much. You posted and people saw fresh blood, someone to attack. Don't take it personally.

Ummm....one more thing.....don't vote for those you think are submarining/not playing. If they don't vote then they will be modkilled. If they post nothing all day but show up and denounce at the last second to save themselve from being modkilled, there r my targets. But for right now no reason to denounce them.

Actually I have the opposite opinion on that. The way I see it, in this game the interest of submarining is big, and submariners will make it quite harder to discern who's scummy. To prevent this, I prefer a forewarning than an after-the-fact "easy" target, and I feel 30h or so is a reasonable delay. I doubt anyone will be completely inactive and save us the hassle in any case.

Erm whatever. ga and lsu if you wanna vote for the inactive I won't protest. But I think it's a waste of time. We spend part of our deadline getting a bandwagon started on them and thats less time to find real scum.

On a related note. When I say inactive I don't mean submarining. To me submarining in this game means making one or two posts but only showing up to denounce to avoid modkill. That obviously we lynch right away. Inactives don't post at all and will get modkilled so to me theres no point in lynching them. Maybe you guys misunderstood this. I didn't make myself clear.

Kwan, as you can see Neutrino has been active, so IMO LSU's vote reached its goal (unless I'm confusing the timeline, need a coffee ).
I don't expect bandwagonning for Moz, it's certainly not my aim. But the surest way to make a submariner pop up is voting for him, even though the votes can't be removed I think it's well worth one.

The guy who edited the post during Night 0, effectivly getting himself lynched before Day even begun (in Unriggable's Chatastrophe Mafia), wants to talk about track records.

What a bunch of horseshit. Your post looks good, but it tells us NOTHING of value. Who says that it has to be either wicked or mandy as the only possibilities for mafia today? I think you forget the probability of one, much less both, of them being scum... with 21 players we can bet on a maximum of 6 bad guys if divided into two factions, 5 otherwise. Me? I'm rarely willing to make such a bold statement like, "I expect that later this game day, I will denounce either Mandy or Wicked or both" when so much can change in 3 days time.

I'm not FOSing you or anything because it's Day One and we will more than likely miss today unless we denounce something like 5 or more people.

This is going to be an interesting game. While I think that there is a possibility that wicked and/or mandy are scum I don't think that a lynch on them will solve anything right now.

I do think it's odd that Talapus did so much game research right off the bat. I usually only am that involved in the game when I'm scum and I need to know all the angles and need to look for a way out if I get in trouble.

I don't think I've played with Talapus before but to me it sounds kind of like a noob mafia mistake.

Seems slightly harsh to call Talapus a noob when hes probably been involved in more mafia games than you now. Also, some people enjoy researching into games etc. I personally have done nothing in terms of research because I haven't had the time but your cause for denouncing him seems quite suspicious and weak.

Well, learning something new there. Since Aim posted on the game announcements sticky the link to the previous Inquisition, I don't see why one wouldn't check it considering the twists of this particular setting =) Seeing Tal's comment, I'm clueless as to whether it's really a slip.

Talking about the original Inquisition, I noticed something, which I'll call my Crazy Theory about Mandy of the Day!
Mandy is all fooling you faking playing the Re-Inquisition, but he's not! He's actually reenacting the previous Inquisition. The first vote on Fircoal, the confusing following votes, all is there!

Joke aside, your reasoning on Koesen seems pretty far-fetched, but I won't scrap it off my thoughts yet
