I love the awkward shape of south africe - makes it hard to make a bottleneck effect.

              Final Forge

--- The South Africa map has reached the ā€˜Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

Just to let everyone know, Crowley hasn't forgot about the map and does wish to continue development on this map. He mentioned briefly in a PM that his personal life has become more prominent and there is less time for CC at the moment.

You have to ask?
Will I make enough money, will the baby be healthy, will I be a good dad, will I drop the baby on it's head, will I need to build additions onto the house, will the baby be allergic to our cats, do we need a bigger car, etc. etc. etc.

I wasn't quite ready for this and we weren't 'trying'... We only wanted to start a family in about 2 years' time.

Congratulations! You will do fine, I've noticed throughout this thread that you seem to be very analytical, identifying problems, developing solutions, acting on them. Enjoy the blessing!

Worry about getting some tasty treats for the preggers wife!

Ha - you're in for it now! I have 3 girls. Ages 5, 3 & 1. My house is insane most of the time. But seriously, 1 is nothing. When they're real little, like up until 6 or 9 months, the Dad is very unimportant. Once they get a little bigger they get kinda fun.

Here's a vid I just took this weekend of my 3 year old. Now she's fun...

Congrats Crowley...you'll do just fine...take one day at a time, and remember that things come in small and large packages, and not everything we receive is a lesson. it is indeed a blessing.!
Good luck with everything to you and your wife. :D
