There could be two groups of mafia or fircoal could just be screwing around with the role names as opposed to the actual. I still point to the "lover" as my main evidence to this. It is possible though that one of the "given" scum deaths was actually the lover of cena. This would be just further proof about how fircoal is not giving real roles for some players and all of the ones given should be taken with a grain of salt.

What makes you think that Cena actually was a 'lover'? How can we assume that some roles we are being given are true and others aren't? I have a great big gut feeling that its all a facade.

And Tonka, how can you pretend that having so many people die in your house is ok? You're lookin' pretty suspect for that. But then again we really shouldn't trust anything Fircoal is telling us right now. Heck we don't even know if the mafia deaths were really mafia.

If you would read my entire post I pointed out that I did feel it was pretty much a scam on the role names although I can't guarantee it since I have no actual knowledge of anybody other than myself. That would be why I pointed out "possability" of how I might be mistaken in that regards.

LSU, what is your problem? I know that a certain level of seriuosness is required when playing this game, but it is called a game for a reason. I was just messing around with Jake (btw, sorry if you got the wrong impression, Jake), but I'm not with you. When I decided to vote, I had to decide on someone that I don't want in the game , right? So, when you attack me, logicaly, as a threat, I should attempt to get you to either back down, or I must try and remove you. It sounds harsh, but that's how the game is played. When I told you that it was a joke, you continue to go on and call me a n00b, and thus become unreasonable. That is why I voted for your lynching.

And try to be civil, and refrain from describing me as a n00b. New, yes, but n00b, no.

I repeat two OMGUS votes hence you deserve to be lynched. The point of the game is to find the scum and to lynch them. Doing multiple OMGUS votes is quite scummy and yes I'm going to call you a noob and go after you for acting like an idiot. If you think I'm singling you out on that, I'm not as I went through this discussion with superstar in a current game and he can tell you that I'm not just singling you out. I go after anyone that is playing like a noob and will call them that as we had about 3 pages of spam from that discussion and then a few ims after about how to help super in future games after he was killed off.

Will he do some noob stuff again? Probably, but in this game he didn't do the same problems which made me not call him a noob this go round. Granted he is dead already, but that was from someone else as I have no killing abilities

Now you can argue that and yes it could make sense. Unfortunately for me I wasn't blessed/cursed with that ability. When I'm protown vigilante, I'm very cautious about my kills and usually don't do one on night 1 unless someone is defending someone pretty hard on day 1 and that day 1 lynch showed a person to be scum. As sk or scum, I actually go after the players I consider "better" players as they would be more of a threat to me winning the game then an idiotic noob that might get lucky. When protown with non killing roles I look for a scumtell sign and once I get it I stay on it until I have a better reason to get off and unfortunately for you, I don't as you have done two scum tell signs so far on day 2 and unless something a lot more valid comes up, my vote will be on you.

Why do you think he knows why there was bodies in his house? You're looking too much into the scene, and the rules say not too, as it's only meant to state who got killed during the night.

I was just thinking: it might be possible that fircoal shows fake roles for all kills, but only uses roles that are actually in the game. If this is true, we would at least know that the mafia have 2 cops and the town has a doc, a mayor, an insane cop, a deputy, a reporter, and a lover. The SK might still be alive.

There's six night-kills to account for, right? At least one would be a mafia kill, one could be the SK kill, and there could be a vig out there. If one of the targets was a lover, that would account for the 4th death. That still leaves 2 unexplained deaths. Maybe there is an insane doctor? Is it possible that the mafia get to make 2 kills instead of one?

The two day-kills would have to be a day-SK and a day-vig, right? Or could it be possible for mafia to kill during the day? I don't have much experience in these games so maybe one of the vets could help me out here.

Meanwhile with all these theories I still don't have a single clue who could be scum. There's too much spam to read back looking for clues.

In any case, the fake roles theory is interesting. But I really think we will get nowhere if we believe in it. Except if someone can claim reporter or lover, we have no way to know if it really works like that, so I'd rather leave it aside for now.
As for the number of kills/factions, well, since a ton of bodies were found at GT's place I suppose we won't know for sure till next night. But I suppose with already 2 day kills and at least 2 "regular" NKs we're off to a rough ride

In any case, digging back on the vote records didn't bring much infos after all At this point seeing how both Mandy and Superstar kinda went after GT at some point I'm more inclined to think he's town, even though there might have been fake attacks.

Perfect example of someone without very many posts here acting like a non-noob. I do think you are right in that Fircoal is using roles that are actually in the game and from what you're suggesting you may or may not know that when you die a different role than your actual may be listed. I am guessing though if you admit knowing what it will say as opposed to actual than you get to be added to the bodycount as a modkill.

Side note S_L: Did you play mafia at a different site before coming here or just a player that "gets it" and won't go for the noobiness that many newcomers go through.

Side note to Skittles: You can think what you want, but this is my routine. The vets here know that when I'm town I do give noobs a hard time for doing scum tell. A little pressure can usually cause some good info to come out. You haven't played that many games with me so you probably don't know that I do play dirty harry and don't go through the laid back take your time and slow down bit. Someone does a scum tell, than I'm on them like gravy on rice. When a better argument or evidence comes up than I move on. In regards to their being a difference between newb and noob the only difference to me is a newb is a new player that is making a little sense while noob is a new player that is acting like an idiot. I may be an ass to them in a game, but it also helps them realize how not to act and those that are trying and want to get better I do offer suggestions and communicate with them. Again I point to Superstar on that as he gave a self critique to his first game here after we had our episode and then we shared a few pms so he wouldn't make the same scumtell signs in the future. As I told super in the other game, I don't sugarcoat it. If someone can't take the heat then they need to stay out of the kitchen. I will say this that McSnipe did come up with a logical thought after I put the pressure on even though I have already done my refute on that so he is on the way to becoming a non-noob once he does that on a more consistant basis
