kwanton wrote:AK, when you lay a trap for scum bandwagoners you really shouldn't give them a legitimate reason to vote. You're supposed to spit out a half-assed reason which will catch people who will jump on a bandwagon just for the bandwagon. If you use a good reason like, let's say a cop investigation, you had to have thought most people will trust a good reason like that. Most people from the noobiest of players to the vets think that a cop investigation is damning evidence. That fact combined with the fact that you lied about your role means that I can confidently:

unvote if need be
vote AK

That's good advice. Like I said, I've never tried anything like this before. But to take advice from you, after you vote to kill a cop... do you any pearls of wisdom for that?

unvote vote AK_iceman

FOS LSU

I wanted the vote count because of the trouble i got into for dropping the hammer in another game.....I have no qualms about dropping the hammer here, as AK's lies are enough for him to deserve the chop.

Yeah, just did a quick vote count and I'm gone for sure.

Look at moz976, The1exile, Koesen, and LSU Tiger Josh.
They're the highest on my scumdar at the moment.

Also, I saved wicked's ass by posting my plan, and she pretty much lead the bandwagon against me. I still think she's town, but not too bright for getting a cop lynched.

You are a Random Cop. Each night you wisit the bar and the friendly Mandalorian bartender will gossip to you about the win conditions of one random player. You cannot choose the player. If you are unlucky, you will find out a lot of usefull info – about a dead man. :(

You win if all the threats to the new Republic have been eliminated.

Confirm in the game thread.

AK just for extra clearification: I don't believe you are dumb enough to think that a cop investigation would not lead to mass bandwagoning. I think you're just making it seem like a badly laid plan to save your own skin. I'm thinking it was a very well thought out plan and it did exactly what you wanted it to (almost). You even left yourself an out by saying "my bad the plan wasn't good".

Whatever as of now though. it's 330, sorority parties make me mad, and I have a soccer game tomorow. peace.

That was the point. I wanted to get a bandwagon going. Usually, when playing with experienced players, they won't lynch until they discuss it for a while. Plus, my very next post was going to explain the plan and stop the bandwagon.

But it's all 20/20 in hindsight, right?

Are we having qualms at this late stage?

I just hope he didn't escape death again

Claiming that you thought a cop-claim supported bandwagon would not lead to a lynch and would expose bandwagoners ranks so high on the scum-scale that the scale actually had to be redrawn to accomodate it.

Let's be frank, I'm in a game with all you mafia veterans, and it's all rather over-whelming. My voice is in serious danger of not being heard amongst yours. So I have 2 choices:

1) Try to follow the crowd with logic, and in doing so make a complete arse of myself.
2) Do things my own way and still make a complete arse of myself.

So it's a Catch-22 situation really.
Oh and in case you forgot, I did bring something to the table about 497 pages back. I said that since wicked's claim was believed by both herself and AK, then perhaps she was innocent.
Which has made me think...
If AK is scum, and he protected wicked, where does that leave her I wonder?

Bah. Did you have to lynch the cop on day 1? I'd say a no-lynch or a random lynch is way better. But I had to read 20 pages before seeing the hammer was dropped.

Moreover, AK's death is useless, since he's been lynched by a simple misunderstanding, in my opinion his tactic was valid since it is Day 1, and we need to use tricks and stuff to figure out the scum. We should better look at the guys who followed AK's bandwagon on Wicked and lynch them 1 by 1 from now on.

No lynches are never good. How could we go back to random-voting after AK made a claim?

Misunderstading? How is claiming 100% surity of the scummyness of a veteran player who you actually have no idea about, a 'misunderstanding'? Anyway, how is AK's attempted bandwagon going to be any use? The vast majority of players, whether veteran or newbie treat a cop-claim as fact. Hell, if I were awake at the time, I would have voted for her, simply on the assumption that AK had investigated her and found her scum. This assumption comes from the fact that no-one (sane, anyway) makes a cop-claim on Day 1 without reason.

Certainly we shouldn't have gone to complete random voting as some people have brought their suspicion more than others. But I sincerely believe that AK is the cop and lynching him at day 1 will hurt town in the long run.

Crap. I'm about to read through all of that too.

Anyway, day's up and it seems that the cop is dead.

I'm willing to say that I believe Wicked now regarding her role.
