Godd has beaten me with his good luck with the diceies. (Diceies I made up to represent the dice deities)

EDIT: What did you expect? A newcomer to take the CHAMP down? Only in a million years...

The upset has happened and the rebel army marches into the next round 50 points richer. Thanks for the game reptile.
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

I am thankful I did not lose 1000 pts.
That would be disaster park right there.
I sure hope there are folks willing to play me while we wait to see if Godd remains champ or not.

I just got too greedy with the neutral spots and enemy spots and wound up eating rifle blade.

I didnt play the first point grabbers tourney, but in the second point grabbers tourney i went undefeated and won the tournament. on top of that point grabbers III tournament i went undefeated until the last game where i lost to godd for the championship. and trust me i dont want to give you 57 points..lol

It's ok you only gave me 50 points in the end as i had been promoted since the competition started.

New bracket is up (remember to manually refresh with F5).

I am absolutely shocked that reptile is gone. I feel like part of me is missing now.

Keep up the trash talk in the thread. It's quite entertaining actually. New PMs going out now.

Even if i lose in this round (which i hope not to) I will be a net points winner - so I will be a winner no matter how far i get in this tournament - a true "points grabber"

When this is over, I'd like to see who gained the most points along the way. In a way, there'd be two winners: the bracket champion, and the point grabber.

Ah....you speak of great things soon to come. As soon as I get a chance I am going to create a Point Grabbers "Hall of Magnificence" so to speak on my Tournament Central site.

I want to include things such as:

1. Most points earned in one tournament
2. Most points earned lifetime in Point Grabbers
3. Most wins
4. Most appearances at certain stages (finals, semi-finals, etc.)
5. Much, much more.

All I need now is a chunk of freetime in the next couple of weeks when my classes have less homework.

It's looking like rebelman may move on in the jungles of Brazil. I made my move and went to class, and when I came back the map had switched and there was charlie everywhere... I've got a nice set coming up for him though, so we'll see what happens. I'm going to need him to listen to a little "Brickhouse" before making his move though.

This has been an entertaining thread.

By the way, don't expect my game to go fast. We have taken 3 turns total.

Yea, Rebelman defeated me in the jungles of Brazil.

Wasn't too much I could do against 10-set on the first 3 cards, 8-set, 10-set. He got them early and often. GG rebelman and good luck.

What, do you think if you bore us to death you'll just win by default?

It was a good game thanks for that, i had nice cards but that alone does not win a game

Story so far:

Rebel army led by a cadet bravely enters with the big boys in the prestigious Point Grabbers Tournament alongside some of the legends of the game including 3 former point grabbers winners.

Thankfully there were only 16 players if there were more this poor cadet would have been seeded lower.

In the round of 16 this cadet is drawn against competition specialist and one of the pre tournament favorites Reptile - many have speculated where this creature has come from or what it is all we know for certain is few come out smiling when they meet this creature in tournament play.

With the benefit of home field advantage despite not having the first move the people of Ireland rise up in joy to celebrate one of their own in a david v goliath performance protecting the green fields of Ireland from the invading hoards led by this creature known as reptile. What reward you asked was bestowed on rebelman for this great act he is offered maidens, land and gold but he refuses all bar 50 of reptiles points which are said to be the source of his power.

Word of rebelmans great deeds reached the kingdom of Brazil where they sent out a plea for help as they were under attack from the one known as rsuttles58. Rebelman being a knight and a gentlman could not refuse this request, he brought with him a few trusted soldiers and a magic card making spell he had retrieved in the battle against reptile.

This proved to be rebelman's greatest victory yet aided in no small way by the card making spell he defeated the evil rsuttles58 who called him charlie (this was a good thing considering charlies form against the yanks). Once again rebelman was offered the spoils of war and this time he and his men did party with the local women as it would have been a huge insult not to. From the evil rsuttles58 he took 28 points which he place in his war chest alongside the 50 he gained from reptile.

Our brave hero has now been called into battle in Montreal, once again he accepts the challenge not knowing what danger awaits him. He and his men are now tired and weary after the partying and womanising in Brazil but they do not want to leave the people of montreal down so once again they set forth into battle with their heads held high as their leader is now a private first class, but can they last much longer ???? all will be revealed.
