First of all with the lynches of AK and Moz, from a Vong (mafia) member's point of view a 3rd party lynch is a good lynch. I know AK was not 3rd party, but it was thought that he was because of what Moz said about him. I think from a pro-jedi/good guy point of view we all thought 3rd party was a good lynch as well. I was thinking that way and when we came upon MM as a lynch possibility I first thought that a 3rd party (Imperial) sounded good too, but now I'm beginning to think we really need to focus on the Vong. If we keep lynching the guys in the middle, we will have a lot of Vong out there with little clues. Also if a Vong player is questioned on voting off a 3rd party player, they can plead the same thing that a jedi would...that

Having said this I think the Vong are jumping on any 3rd party players that are up for a lynch. This is why if MM comes up Imperial (non-jedi, non-Vong), I think Talapus is certainly one of the players that jumped on the opportunity, especially with dropping the hammer.

A double invite? Refer a friend and win free drinks at the Vong bar? That seems way far fetched.

My vote on you stays since you have ties with the mafia in this game. If they tried recruiting you how can we know if you accepted or not? Also a claimed jedi and one of the ones who died, wicked, was pushing really hard for your death. If the scum hadn't killed her yet, she wasn't a real threat to them til now. which means she probably stumbled accross something important to scum recently.

MM getting a recruitment offer and the "voxyn" recently being added to the mafia ranks. Are these two events related? And it sounds like there are two voxyn based on the recent deaths. MM and syzygy maybe?

In this post I think kwanton is reaching at reasons for lynching MM...reasons that could be just thinking out loud, but with no fact behind them. The part about wicked pushing for MM's lynch, that maybe she was onto something, and especially saying that MM could be the "voxyn" was a definite reach at MM's unknown affiliation.

kwanton wrote this only two minutes after Talapus' vote, but it could be that he never saw Talapus' vote because he was writing his post during those two minutes. If he saw the hammer dropped, why talk about MM's credibility? I think he wrote that post to try to get that extra vote to drop the hammer. And this goes back to my theory that the Vong have no problem with lynching 3rd party Imperials.

Now if MM turns up as something different, all of this could be worthless. But if MM is non-jedi, non-vong, we need to look in a different direction.

Well, since it's still twilight just a few thoughts:
ML you do have a point, but personally I voted him back because he sounded either third party or scum. Either way I don't think he's telling the truth. The possibilities that came to my mind:
1-The Vong really tried to recruit him, and we don't know whether he accepted or not; the fact he would then be able to recruit another player right away sounds way weird. We had no clue the Vong could act like a scum cult à la Inquisition, and on top of that they chain recruit? I don't buy it.
2-MM is Vong since the start, and had a (maybe one-shot) recruiting power.
3-MM is a third-party Cult leader.

Well, we'll find out soon.

Hrm, you raise some good points. But your whole argument rests on the assumption that MM was telling the truth about his role, and that imperials are in fact third party. No need for me to defend myself now cause if MM turns out anything but third-party(doubtful) your whole argument falls apart.
