How many hats do you own?

Really, I bet that the men here will own more hats than the women.

I think I have four. I only wear them on special occasions, like when I go to the horse racing track or the beach.

If it's cold or rainy I just wear a scarf over my head. I have dozens upon dozens of scarves. They're part of my schtick.

A strange question Meggie......hmmm......ok....I have 3 ball caps, 1 Stevie Ray Vaughn type hat (with conchos headband) 1 summer cowboy type hat(with holes in it) and if you count beanie helmets....3 hard motorcyle hats.....but....my sweetie also makes hats from paper, that she makes from plants we grow in our garden, and stuff she finds at the beach...for example...here's a picture of a hat she made from home made paper, and then covered in a wasps nest.....(yes, Im serious) and the one in the background has kelp from a local beach on top of the paper.....heheheh...(gets boring in the rainy season eh.....)

Sh*t, did you mean just hats or hats & caps because my hat is really a cap of Croatian football team (when I read this answer makes no sense to me, but this is how it is).

That's incredible. Does she sell them? If so, as art or clothing?

Bunches!! none of them dress hats though... mainly baseball caps I wear running to keep the hair out of my eyes and winter caps. I love my fleece winter hat! I go to a lot of events where I'm given baseball hats and often trade them around ... my latest acquisistion is a red "Canada" hat I love! 8)

I think I have around 6. They are all baseball hats though. Come in handy when in a rush and want my hair out of my face. I don't think I have any dressy hats, if I do they are packed away and forgotten.

A blue baseball cap purchased one summer in Majorca - to keep the sun off my delicate nose - bearing the legend, in a very elegant cursive:

"MAJORCA: This Is My Fucking Cap".

A peaked wooly one, two caps, a sort of trendy fedora thing and a battered panama.

Other than the wooly one (it's grim up north) they get very little wear :D

Lets see... I have one old beat up, red, Red Wings hat. I have one filthy, black, Red Wings hat. I have a good, clean, black Red Wings hat, that I wear only when I'm not working or going to a game. I have a good, clean blue U of Michigan hat, that I take care of... 2 hats with company names on them that I use for working... There are plenty of other hats in the house, but I've disowned them. So... 6 hats I'd wear, depending on the situation.

In short, too many. But my favorite is a black cap with an Oriental Yellow Dragon on the front and flames going around it.

My employer gives us about 1 or 2 hats each year we win the safety award for our industry. I probably have about 20 hats and I never wear any of them. I'm just waiting to sell them on eBay when I get around to it. Most of those hats go for close to $20 each.

I do wear one hat though, my Adidas running hat during the warm months to keep the sweat out of my eyes... when running.
