I also started a new topic on Jude3 called "Creation vs. Evolution, Part 3" in which I wrote an entire report on Carbon-14 dating and its fallacies. I also included Potassium-Argon dating and K-Ar dating. It's an interesting read...if you have an open mind about things.

And you proceed from there, trying to make everything fit that one unassailable belief. Scientists have open minds - they attack their own hypotheses until they either disintegrate or hold up. Mostly they disintegrate. But that is how science works. Any shite you write about carbon dating has f*ck all to do with adam and eve.

2) That if you believe in right and wrong you are automatically "close-minded"

If this were the case then, Dahmer should not have been arrested. YOU just don't have an open mind to killing or eating human flesh.

Congrats Jay, you have plumbed new depths. I was of course talking about the scientific method, not whether murder and cannibalism should be accepted. Either deal with the arguments or don't post, man, because this last post of yours was utter nonsense.

That's not the scientific method. That's saying that because one believes that the Bible is true and that because if one does not believe anything that contradicts the Bible that they have a "closed mind".

Closed minded as we know it today is when someone refuses to believe anything that goes against their current beliefs.

Those with open minds are open to the introduction of new beliefs. They don't have to agree with it, but they accept it as a possibility.

Jay, by saying you refute anything that contradicts the bible, you are admitting that you are closed minded. It's ok that you are, I just don't want you going around thinking that you are an open minded person.
