..Scoreboard Rank
+Total Posts Rank
+Joined Date Rank

I'll calculate people as I think of them and once there is a good group we'll have the top 5. It will be weighted heavily for joined date though since so many thousands join and never come back. We're at about 170224 current members with 21075 active on the scoreboard. 21075/170224 ~ .125 (about 1/8th) So dividing joined date rank by 8 will give a normalized value.

Wicked:
1444 + 2 + 616/8 = 1523
Reverend_Kyle: 2173 + 3 + 3498/8 = 2613
Sully800: 225 + 50 + 9358/8 = 1170
JOHNNYROCKET24: 3 + 176 + 6145/8 = 947
Blitzaholic: 23 + 92 + 14934/8 = 1982
AK_iceman: 1540 + 16 + 6420/8 = 2359
AndyDufresne: 6474 + 20 + 2464/8 = 6802
lackattack: 1616 + 51 + 3/8 = 1667
qeee1: No scoreboard rank + 71 + 1317/8 = ?? (included him because he'd be first in this game if he was active!)
Twill: 2161 + 100 + 297/8 = 2298

That's the list for now anyway. To do well in this contest it seems you need to have joined in 2006, have a post count over 50 and a score over 1400. And you need to be active!! Right now the post count is hardly weighted at all, since forum posters are in the minority on this site. I will try to come up with a factor to weight that more heavily and then edit the above scores and make the first top 5 list.

I am not sure what these numbers mean?

sully800 wrote:Alright, heres the updated calculation:
Only 10237 members have ever posted in the forums. So 170224/10237 = 16. Therefore we need to multiply the total posts rank by 16 to weight it properly against score and joined date.

Wicked: 1444 + 2*16 + 616/8 =1553
Reverend_Kyle: 2173 + 3*16 + 3498/8 = 2658
Sully800: 225 + 50*16 + 9358/8 = 2195
JOHNNYROCKET24: 3 + 176*16 + 6145/8 = 3587
Blitzaholic: 23 + 92*16 + 14934/8 =3362
AK_iceman: 1540 + 16*16 + 6420/8 =2599
AndyDufresne: 6474 + 20*16 + 2464/8 = 7102
lackattack: 1616 + 51*16 + 3/8 = 2432
Twill: 2161 + 100*16 + 297/8 =3798

Now to do well your post count needs to be above 1000 which is more fitting.

Top 5 CC Triathlon (For highest score, most posts and best longevity!)
Wicked- 1553
Sully800- 2195
lackattack- 2432
AK_iceman- 2599
Reverend_Kyle- 2658

I will gladly take recommendations for more names and I'll do the calculation myself, but please check the following:
Min. score of 1450
Min. posts of 1450
Joined before: Oct 2006

If they don't meet those three requirements they definitely won't beat rev kyle.

I think this is a great idea sully, but also the joined date may be a bit too heavily weighted as well?

and do the numbers of lower the score mean better, this is why wicked is # 1? and what i highlighted in blue, well, i have been very active site i joined, also played in over 3000 games, posted almost 3000 times too, well about 2500, and score had almost 4400 or 4386 once, not sure anyone comes close, except maybe jr if you count the totality of it all, but I also had over 3000 score in over 13 of the last 15 months even counting the month i joined,

again, it seems the date joined it very heavily weighted, but it's your idea, and a great one, wish it was more balanced, i agree with the longevity but must be active longevity, this would leave qeee1 off and maybe some others, perhaps add to the formula commitment of games and wins, and win %, etc, just an idea, up to you, but like your idea a lot and the formula, perhaps you compute them all like NFL quarterback ranking, which is complex, lol

I am interested in this and possibly adding to it, but it is your call on your formula, and it is in it's infancy, but this was very creative and I certainly will add to the 5's, once you know for sure how you want to break it down.

As I said in the other thread, I would love to include win percentage, games won, games played, positive feedback and many other things.

But the three categories I choose are done by the rank for each item. There is no ordered list available for any of the other items you mentioned. We all know you are #1 in total games played, but it would be impossible to figure out where most people stand (unless you want to make the list of every CCer yourself )

What I plan on doing to make the scores weighted correctly is to make the average in each category equal. As I have it now, I think I compared score against active users and posts against all users ever which throws off the adjustment. I'll get back to you tomorrow on all that though.

Blitz: The number I calculated for each person is their "total rank". If you were 1st on the scoreboard, 1st in posts and the first person to join the site you would get a "3". If you are 100th on the scoreboard, 200th in posts and the 300th person to join, you would get 600 (without any adjustment to try and weight each category equally).

also sully perhaps you could add positive feedback?

if needed to save you time, I can collect that info easy enough for you

so instead of tri-it is quad-fecta, lol, just curious if that is ok, or would work, the stats for this are easily found.

I would like to add positive feedback, but there is no ordered list for that category. Keep in mind, first gets one point second gets 2 points, etc. It would be easy to figure out that JR and AA and H2SY are all near the top of feedbacks. But since there is no list of it you'd never be able to figure out what place I am or someone who doesn't have a few hundred.

I'll update every now and then, and just keep the data in excel. The nice part is, the joined date will never change and the rank for posts changes very little. The scoreboard rank is a little harder, especially for the lower people, but I'll update every now and then.

Now I just need to figure out the proper formula. I believe it should be Post Rank*2 and not 8 to compare it to all active members.

as you can see bellow on the 2nd of september johnny claims he has lost ~375 points when in fact treefiddy proves him wrong and shows everybody he gained almost 1000 by abusing freestyle.

I did the work for you this time because I recall how much trouble you had prior to this.

Of course you did the "work" for me, because you're lying and you know it. I had already done the work, as listed above. All you did was make me double check my work. I did miss two of your losses which puts you 124 points more into the hole than you were before.

Were you counting your sequential losses? You do realize that those have absolutely nothing to do with you abusing the freestyle system, right? I should also like to point out that your winning percentage is only 57% in sequential, which just happens to be a perfectly fair enviroment that you cannot abuse. Perhaps this is a true light on how good of a player you really are?

You've lost a total of 2380 points in 1v1 freestyle. This is an average of less than 53 points per loss, not an "average of 60 per loss", because you didn't have 3500 points the entire time. I counted the point loss from all your lost games; this is accurate, feel free to double check me.

Like I said in my earlier post, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt on the average points per game. When you started freestyle, the point changes are that of someone with only ~2500 points.

And sense you're too dense to understand all this, let me break it down for you. I checked your losses on every page. With 100 results per page, it was very easy to track your wins since you lose so infrequently. That was until I got to page 6 where you lost several times.

(Points gained based on 6 points per win average)
Page 1 - 576 - 255
Page 2 - 594 - 72
Page 3 - 564 - 387
Page 4 - 582 - 220
Page 5 - 564 - 391
Page 6 - 498 - 673
Page 7 - 300 - 382 (58 games on this page)

Apparently the "LEET" Johnnyrocket24 didn't know how to abuse the system yet. It's amazing how your losses came down considerably once you learned how to cheat -err- "take advantage of freestyle". So take out the first 158 games, and it's clear that you've gained a substantial amount of points from abusing the system.

So while you say that you've lost 300 points, the reality of this is that you've gained nearly 1,000 points off abusing the system. All so you can put your name at the top of any list that you make as a form of autofellatio.

I honestly can't wait for the defacto double turn to be fixed so I can watch your points dwindle away.

you last sentence sums it all up. The defacto double turn was removed and updated 3 months ago and my win ratio has shot up to 93% on 1 vs 1's. Again prooving there was never no abuse. I have no made roughly 7,000 turns in 1 vs 1 play and about 20 times ( 3-4 months ago ) I doubled up on turns. There is no way that is abuse. In fact, more players have done it to me and for some reason while you investigated my 1,400 games you forgot to mention that. Thats called smart playing. Again, the double turn tactic was removed and updated 3 months ago and my win ratio is much higher. have fun with your next bitching session.

oh BTW, yes, I have finally crawled out from the negative points gained on these games. But again, no double turns were used. Kinda makes you look dumb for bitching about shit that doesnt even concern you and not even getting your facts straight. I know, the mighty Dim plays 3 games on line for endless years and he knows everything.
