Sorry i had to leave and never got round to sending him a pm, i have done it now and im going to be posting match reports, and since sam currently has no-one to play i will play him, i will take 10 players rated no better than good and try to beat him, i know how the program works so i can basically put near perfect tactics on. This is also a good test to see what matters more your team or your tactics.

Game 1

Emo United v Rubbish XI

Teams:
Emo United (sam levi)
1. James , 37, Excellent
2. Stubbs , 30 Very Good
3. Neill 30, Very Good
4. Elano 26, Excellent
5. Fabregas, 20, World Class
6. Rosicky, 27, World Class
7. Torres, 24, World Class
8. Todd 33, Good
9. Mendes 29, Very Good
10. Walcott, 19, Excellent

Rubbish XI (all players rated good)
1. Keller 38,
2. Bramble 26
3. Ingimarsson 30
4. Whitehead 26
5. Richardson 23
6. Kilbane 31
7. Heskey, 30,

Todays game was an intresting match up the highly talented team of Emo United took on the first 7 bums found in the street, however these bums had something on their side, they had the worlds greatest manager pmchugh.

The game started off at a slow pace as sam levis team repeatedly fouled Rubbish IX, tackles went flying in all over the park and after just 7 mins Lucas Neill was booked for descent.
Not long afterwards his fellow centre back Stubbs hacked down Emile Hesey just outside the box earning himself a yellow card as well. Kieran Richardson stepped up to take it and curled it beautifully round the wall only for it to hit the post.

For the next 15 mins Emo United'd superior players started to show through as they began to pass the ball around with ease, and after 24 mins Stubbs played a beautiful long ball from defence right over the heads of the Rubbish XI defenders striaght to Torres, Torres used his explosive pase to accelerate away from the defenders and when veteran keeper Kellar came out his goal Torres chipped it over him with ease and it dropped into the back of the net. Emo United 1-0 Rubbish XI.

After they scored the goal they were cruising Torres was playing out of his skin and if it wasnt for Kellar making some brilliant saves Emo United would have been leading by at least 2 or 3 at half time.

However pmchugh's half time team talk worked wonders Rubbish XI came flying out of the traps and 3 mins into the second half Heskey fed through Kilbane who smashed it straight at keeper David James who parried it away, however it only went as far as Whitehead who camly stroked the ball into the empty net. Emo United 1-1 Rubbish XI.

After this the game descended into a very dirty match with tackless flying all over the place and very few chances being created. Fernando Torres seemed to be the only player on the pitch that was playing well every time he touched the ball he done something magnificent. On 72 mins Torres got the ball at the half way line and as Bramble came in for the challenge he nutmegged him, he then sprinted all the way up the field out running all the Rubbish defenders and when Kellar advanced on him he simply rounded him and finshed into the open goal. Emo United 2-1 Rubbish XI.

This got Rubbish XI fired up again and they went on the attack, they pushed Emo United back into their box and really had them under the kosh. And on 82 mins looked very promising for Rubbish when Niell made yet another dirty tacke and recieved his second yellow of the match. Can Emo United hang on in the last 8 mins or do Rubbish XI have enough in them to get the goal they need. SUB made for Emo United Todd on for Elano. (i will do this automatically to cover you if you get a player sent off.)

In the next 8 mins Rubbish had all the possession but failed to create any chances and as it ticked into injury time a goal looked unlikely. However in the 93rd minute Todd brought down Whitehead in a decent position for a free kick to be swung into the box. Rubbish XI's keeper pushed forward into the box for what was surely the last chance of the game. Richardson swung it in and Emo's keeper James came out to collect it, it was looking like an easy catch when opposition keeper Kellar pushed into him, surely thats a freekick? no says the referee and the ball drops to Ingimarsson three yards out with an open goal, only for him to hit the bar, the ball was cleared by Torres and the final whistle went.

Emo United 2-----1 Rubbish XI
Torres 24, 72-----Whitehead 48.

I cant believe i lost at my own game

Game 2

Thunder Hawks(amino) v Red Stick Cajuns(LSU)

Teams:

Thunder Hawks (animo)
1. Given 31, Excellent
2. R. Ferdinand 29, Excellent
3. Sagna 25, Very Good
4. Ballack, 31, Very Good
5. Pederson 26, Very Good
6. Denilson 20, Very Good
7. Berbatov, 21, Excellent
8. Mellberg, 30, Very Good
9. A. Smith 27, Very Good
10. Viduka, 32, Very Good

Red Stick Cajuns (lsu)
1. Reina, 25, Excellent
2. Ashley Cole 27, Excellent
3. Clichy 22, Excellent
4. Lucas 21, Very Good
5. Alonso, 26, Excellent
6. C. Ronaldo 23, Footballing God
7. D. Bent, 24, Excellent
8. Hibbert 27, Good
9. Kranjcar 23, Good
10. Zarate, 21, Very Good

In the first proper pre-season freindly all eyes were on Ronaldo and whether he would live up to the hype that has been surrounding him. Thunder Hawks were looking to spoil his debut and assigned Sanga the task of marking him.

The match started out with Thunder Hawks keeping most of the possession, they passed the ball around well but seemed to lack any ideas. Frustratingly for manager LSU, Red Stick could not get ahold of the ball, and Ronaldo only touched the ball once in the first ten mins. Thunder Hawks, in the early stages of the game hardly committed any men forward and so failed to create any chances despite dominating the game.

On 24 mins Ronaldo was presented with his first chance to make a real impact he recieved the ball 35 yards out on the right wing, he immedeately sprung into action, he done a couple of stepovers and skinned Sagna. He sprinted down the wing and crossed a beautiful cross into the box Bent met it with a header but failed to hit the target.

After this Red Stick started to get into the game more and managed to commit men forward well at points, for the rest of the first half the defended well and attacked in number however their main problem seemed to be the fact they had such a slow build up each time they went forward allowing Thunder to get many players behind the ball and make it difficult for them to carve out a chance.

The first half had been very boring however right at the start of the second half RSC played some wonderful football. On 51 mins Ronaldo picked up the ball at the half way line, took one touch and played a diagonal ball up the pitch to Lucas who chested it down and ran at Ferdinand he flicked the ball round him and advanced into the box, as Ballach came accross to tackle him he left Bent free in the box, Lucas played the ball across and Bent was one-on-one with the keeper he hammered his shot and it went miles over the bar. What a waste of a great opportunity.

For the next 15 mins RSC passed the ball around beautifully with Ronaldo at the heart of all their play. However every time they created a good chance Bent was their to ruin it whether he scuffed his shot or picked the wrong pass he was ussually to blame for Red Sticks failure to score.

In the last 20 mins or so Red Stick seemed to fade away and allowed Thunder Hawks to take control of the game again. Denilson had a particularly good game playing the ball about well and linking up with Berbatov, and it was him who was to have Thunder Hawks first real chance of the game on 72 mins. Ballack played a long ball forward which Berbatov flicked on and into the path of Denilson who contorlled it well and struck it on the half-volley the ball soared past Reina and into the back of the net, Thunder Hawks 1-0 Red Stick Cajuns.

After this RSC seemed dead and Thunder Hawks played the ball about with ease. Five mins after they scored Pederson had a good chance to double their lead but it was well saved by Reina who turned it behind for a corner. Ballack swung the corner in and Ferdinand got up well and made an excellent header that beat Reina only for Clichy to header it away of the line.

For the remainder of the match Thunder Hawks passed the ball well and RSC never looked like getting an equaliser, when the full time whistle went there was a big smile on amino's face.
Thunder Hawks 1-----0 Red Stick Cajuns
Denilson 72

Game 3

Norfolk and Chance v Down Under United

Teams
Norfolk and Chance
1. Almunia,
2. Finnan
3. Toure,
4. Nani
5. Makelele
6. Gerrard,
7. Rooney,
8. Huth
9. Mascherano
10. Eduardo

DDU
1. Hart 20, Very Good
2. Vidic 26, Excellent
3. Agger 23, Excellent
4. A. Young 22, Very Good
5. Lampard, 29, World Class
6. Giggs, 34, World Class
7. Drogba, 30, World Class
8. Yobo 27, Very Good
9. Malbranque, 28, Very Good
10. K. Miller, 28, Very Good

Today's match is going to be a very interesting one as these two teams are tipped to be among the favourites for next season. Giggs will be a player to watch as the two teams had a bidding war on him earlier this season, will Giggs come back to haunt Icedagger?

Right from the first whistle this game was a cracker, both sides created chances and the score could have been much higher. The first majour chance happened on 12mins as Nani played a beautiful pass through to Gerrard. Gerrard advanced into the box and squared the ball across for Rooney who hit it first time, the shot soared passed young keeper Hart, but it also soared passsed the post.

This chance did not dampen DDU's spirit infact it woke them up and theysprung into life. Drogba, Giggs and Lampard combined brilliantly and destroyed the Norfolk defense, they were playing lovely passes and making it look easy, in the end Drogba played through Young in on goal only for him to scuff the shot wide.

DDU continued to out pass Norfolk and on 37 mins Lampard out-musscled Finnan and ran in on the keeper, Almunia dived at Lampards feet but wasnt quich enough, Lampard rounded him and stuck it in the back of the net. Norfolk and Chance 0-1 Down Under United.

As half time approached Norfolk started to get back into the game playing some good football and forcing Hart to make a few saves. On 43 mins they earned a free kick high up the pitch in a decent position. Rooney took it but hit it staight into the wall, DDU's Ashley Young picked up the ball and broke forward he moved over the half way line as he tried to hit Norfolk on the break. However he did not get enough support and Norfolk got plenty of men behind the ball and snuffed out the opportunity.

At the start of the second half Norfolk were the stronger team, with Makelele having an inspirational game. It was him who played a great ball forward on 55 mins that dropped perfesctly at the feet of Rooney who drove on and blasted the ball passed Hart and into the back of the net, however the goal was chopped off for offside. Rooney was standing a clear 2 yards offside.

Just 2 mins later DDU created a chance of their own with Giggs crossing the ball into the box after a 25 yard run. Norfolk marked poorly and this aloud Drogba a free header at the back post, he made no mistake and scored his first goal for DDU, that was totally against the run of play. Norfolk and Chance 0-2 Down Under United.

After this the game evened out and the home fans started to boo their own players unhappy a what they thought was going to be an easy win. The players started to respond and on 73 mins Makelele played a through ball to Nani who out paced Agger and played the ball across the face of the goal, Giggs who was coming back to fill in as Agger had been left behind attempted to clear the ball but by accident booted the ball into the back of his own net! Giggs may have signed for DUU but he's still scoring for Norfolk. Is this the stroke of luck Norfolk need to get back in the match? Norfolk and Chance 1-2 Down Under United.

The Norfolk players grew in confidence and forced DDu back into their box. With just 10 mins remaining Rooney pulled out wide and sinked the ball into the box, Agger mssed timed his header and left Gerrard with an easy chance to score the equaliser and he didnt hesitate volleying the ball home, what a great comeback form Norfolk! Norfolk and Chance 2-2 Down Under United.

As the game drew to a close it was DDU who started to take control of the game again, this game has gone back and forth all day, and as DDU got a freekick right on the edge of the box with a few mins remaining everyone was wondering if it was about to take another twist. Giggs stepped up to take it, he hit it hard and straight at the wall a dreadfull freekcick, the ball fell to Toure with an easy chance to clear but he tried to play the ball short to Finnan and Lampard intercepted it, he hit the ball with all his might towards goal, and the ball was travelling too fast for Almunia to handle. Down Under United have won it at the death!

Norfolk and Chance 2-----3 Down Under United.
Giggs o.g 73----------------Lampard 37, 88
Gerrard 80------------------Drogba 57

Match four coming up, im going overboard with the match reports lol.

Game 4

Transvestite Rodeo Clowns v The Wierd Alternative Team

Teams:
TRC
1. Freidel, 36
2. Terry, 27,
3. Carragher
4. Butt, 33,
5. Flamini 24,
6. Hargreaves
7. Shevchenko, 31,
8. Hutton 23,
9. Nolan, 25,
10. McFadden, 24

TWAT
1. Cech, 25, World Class
2. Gallas, 30, Excellent
3. Richards 19, Excellent
4. S. Larsson 22, Very Good
11. Lennon 20, Excellent
6. Muntari 23, Very Good
7. Adebayor, 24, World Class
8. A. Ferdinand
9. Anderson
10. Doyle

Moments before kick off TWAT signed Anton Ferdinand and Anderson, and they sold Volz. Both Ferdinand and Anderson will start on the bench today. In the final pre-season game before the start of the season who will come out on top?

Todays game was a strange one from the start TRC seemed to lack any ideas they did the simple stuff fine but they seemed reluctant to do anything special. TWAT on the other hand played the ball about well and kept possesion for most of the early stages of the game.

The first chance of the game fell to TWAT after 24 mins, Adebayor played a 1-2 with Muntari and he found himself free from the defense. He advance in on the keeper and tried to curl it into the bottom corner only for Freidel to make an excellent save.

Just 6 mins later Adebayor got another chance, with Lennon playing a chipped ball over the defense. Adebayor collected and advanced on goal, however he seemed to lack confidence after his first miss and took to much time to get his shot away by which time Freidel was only 2 yards away and had an easy save.

TRC finally managed to create a chance shortly before half time, Flamini slipped through Shevchenko who struck his shot first time form the edge of the box, Peter Cech dived for it but missed it, the ball rebounded off the post and fell Hargreaves. He hit it first time and the ball was headed towards the net, before Cech reached up a hand from the ground and flicked it over the bar, what an incredible save.

In the second half TWAT started to play poorly, they gave away the ball cheaply and kept giving away needless fouls. On 51 mins Shevchenko made a good run forward into the box but Richards defended very well and forced him out to the corner of the box, Shevchenko held the ball up well waiting for support, this frustrated Richards who needlessly pulled him to the ground thats a penalty! Sheva stepped up and burried it past Cech into the bottom corner. Transvestite Rodeo Clowns 1-0 The Wierd Alternative Team.

After this TWAT's heads seemed to drop, and they failed to mount any decent chances. Where had the free-passing side form the first 20 mind disapeared to? On 64 mins they recieved another blow as Richards was stretchered off after twisting his ankle. It doesnt look too serious and he should be fit for the start of the season. SUB A. Ferdinand on for Richards.

After this TRC controlled the game, they didnt have to do much as TWAT seemed dejected and unwilling to fight for it. On 81 mins substitute Ferdinand brought down Nicky Butt just outside of the box and it provided and excellent chance for TRC to increase their lead. Flamini rolled the ball to Shevchenko who wacked it full pelt, the ball travelelled through the wall and right into the top corner, a great strike! Transvestite Rodeo Clowns 2-0 The Wierd Alternative Team.

5 mins later Terry played a long ball forward to Shevchenko, who flicked the header onwards unfortunately for him no-one was their to pick the ball up for TRC. Instead the ball fell to Gallas who decided to pass the ball back to keeper Cech, however he did not put enough pace on the ball and a sprint insued between Flamini and Cech. Flamini won the race and knocked the ball round Cech, he had an open goal, but he rushed the shot and it rebounded off the post! Gallas came back to boot the ball away and save his blushes.

The final whistle went and in the end the game turned out a comfortable win for Transvestite Rodeo Clowns, the didnt have to do much to win though as TWAT simply didnt show up second half and handed them the game on a plate.

Transvestite Rodeo Clowns 2-----0 The Wierd Alternative Team
Shevchenko 51 (pen), 81

It wasnt won by one goal :P . Hope you all enjoyed the pre-season games!
