and my mind began to reel
distracted by those dark seams
where they entered nine inch heels.
When my senses returned
it was far too late
as that crafty wench's sekrit strategy
had predetermined all our fates.
A glow at the end of the tunnel
began to shimmer in a cyan light,
when I heard a sultry voice whisper
"not to worry... everything is alright."
Of course my muse was mistaken
as territories began to fall and armies grew thin.
Her pockets now stuffed with spoils, it was obvious
there was no way out
and no way to win.
It only took eleven rounds to complete this tale
of cheesy goodness' alchemy into the napalm scent so distinct.
"Smells like victory" she said as I awaited my ship to sail.
A few points lighter and the last in line... I too am extinct,
and as it turns out,
it's actually #498.
oh so well done, oh so well written,
oh before long i may find myself smitten...
oVo kindly gives more credit than is due,
yes this one i won, but to lose would be nothing new...
i really enjoyed that game, to be sure,
precisely placing bait to make such a lure...
it was kinda sad for me to kill you this day,
but it's what i do, 'tis how i play...
i stand alone now at the water's edge, and simply think,
for yours really was the final ship i did sink...
