Proposed by JR though, no.

JR, just because you got a Community Medal so you'd stop whining about not having enough, doesn't mean you should dictate.. ANYTHING.. ever.

I posted a suggestion in the suggestion forum. Please keep your flames elsewhere.

thanks

why don't you like people farming the new recruits johnny?

they don't know the map and it's too easy to get wins and points from them

you join thousands upon thousands of games with cooks and privates in order to get easy wins and points from people that aren't good at this game... how is that different?

because they have played long enough that they are fair game...

yes, but you are upset that people are attempting to gain points and wins from easy games, new recruits may be intelligent players or they may not be... the people you play are proven bad players... so how is what you're doing any better?

because CC hasnt said its against the rules yet...

"...glass houses" johnny... put those bricks down
please dont flame in the suggestion forum.

thanks

this is so true it hurts. everyone i ever introduced to CC says the exact same thing.
had i been wise, i would have seen that her simplicity cost her a fortune

though off topic.... it does generate a suggestion.....perhaps every new recruit should get one speed game?

might be too much though....and if they join the wrong one....they will have a fast game...but not any better an experience

also, I think the option of being able to play "fog" games should be disabled too if it is already not.

Agreed, someone who doesn't know the map certainly isn't going to understand how to figure out where the enemy might be located (if playing hte map for the first or second time.)

I'd like to add to your proposal here and suggest something even more drastic:
Limit new players to The Classic Maps, and traditional keys like sequential, escalating, adjacent, no fog, etc.
After 10 complete games, open up 8 more basic (and small) maps (like Iwo Jima, Doodle Earth, Luxembourg, etc...maps that have opponents start with less than 12 territories for each player in a one-on-one game)
After 20 complete games, unlock 10 more maps with a sampling of larger maps. (World 2.1,
After 30 complete games, unlock 10 more maps with a sampling of complicated maps that have bombardment, automatic deploys...

Heck, I'm going to make my comment a separate suggestion...but food for thought.

you don't like it, try making your own and see how far you get..

the look of a map has nothing to do with who is allowed to play...
