LOL . . . how so ? ? ? Did Boise State not open the season by whuppin' Oregon?
Since BSU has no real challenges remaining, it's their schedule that hurts in the BCS,

I know that Wyoming Fans can get pretty agitated (having worked the games 2 years in a row), but wow. That is some rivalry. Though with Wyoming holding Utah back for 3/4 of a game, it is showing that the Cowboys are making major improvements and may upset the balance of the MWC in the next few years.

If you live anywhere near Utah the animosity between those two schools wouldn't surprise you in the least. They call it the "Holy War" around here, the battle between the righteous (BYU) and the heathens (Utah).Of course that description depends entirely upon which school you attend.
The "Beck to Harline" moment from a few years back was one of the greatest things to ever happen for a BYU fan.

I know that with the Honor Code that all students at this university have to agree to we are going to miss out on recruiting certain players who would simply rather go elsewhere.

While I believe that someday we will have a legitimate shot at a national title again, I know that we would have to be incredibly lucky to have that happen. For now I'm happy with 10 or 11 win seasons on a regular basis and stockpiling some conference championships to build the "resume" so-to-speak.
Now, if we could just convince Boise State, Fresno State, and Houston to join the Mountain West and make a 12 team conference with a title game...

Probably won't be going myself, but I will still watch it and root for the Cowboys (and pray that their O-line is finally in order).
So, with the game last week, how do you think Wyoming is going to against BYU? We did hold the lead on Utah for 3/4 of the game. And with plays like what Austin Carta-Samuels and Robert Benjamin pulled off for that touchdown, Wyoming is proving that it is already a different program then last year.

I think it will be a relatively close game, but in the end I think BYU will still find a way to win. They've dominated the conference for long enough now and very few teams have been able to find an answer for our offense (can't say the same about our defense). Excluding TCU and Florida State obviously.
If it turns into a shootout, Wyoming is in trouble, as McKay Jacobson is back this week, but if it is a defensive struggle, it's either teams game to win I think.

Yeah, my opinion is that Jim McMahon is one of the darker spots on the BYU football program. I'll never be proud of the fact that he was allowed to get away with what he did while he was on campus.

On another note, I think LSU Alabama should be a good game. I believe that Alabama will win but I think it should be interesting how they perform coming off the bye and the narrow win over Tennessee two weeks ago.

The MWC is a young conference, with the majority splitting off from the WAC about 10 years ago, and TCU joined up about 4-5 years ago as the newest member of the conference. Though, it seems some want to get BSU in it, 1. geographical location 2. So they actually play teams that are not pushovers the majority of the season.

Also, we have our own television network.

I think getting Boise and another quality team into the conference would help boost the mountain west a lot. Give the conference a better chance at making a NC appearance.

Utah and TCU should be rivals soon enough with their success in recent years. Wyoming (4-8) did thump Tennessee (5-7) 13-7 to get their fourth win last year and you think maybe the Cowboys are on the verge of repeating 2004's seven win season?
Alabama/LSU, Ohio State/Penn State and Oklahoma/Nebraska this weekend.
Wyoming at BYU and Georgia at Tennessee Tech and Navy at Notre Dame.
