If it's the prior I can think of two teams, easily, that I'd list ahead of them. And another three or four that I'd have to sit and think about (including one in their own conference).
From 2000 - 2009 The Texas Longhorns have
- A win % of 76.5% on the road or at a neutral site (leads nation)
- At least 10 wins in the last 9 years (longest current streak in the nation)
- A overall regular season record of 110-18
- Won 2 Big 12 Championships (2005, 2009)
- Won 3 out of 4 BCS bowls (lost last night to Bama)
- Won 4 out of 6 non BCS bowls (overall 7 out of 10 in bowls 70%)
- Finished the year ranked in the top 10 Six times and top 25 the other four times
- Averaged 37.6 points per game (2nd to Boise State)
- Had 13 first round draft picks in the NFL
- Developed the NCAA's most winningst QB (McCoy 45-7 not counting bowls)
- Had 2 players that were Heisman contenders (VY, McCoy)
