No it doesn't.

Why didn't God prevent the poor translation, then?

Jay mate, you forgot my questions to you ...

1) We've established that Michal didn't raise sons for another woman according to the bible. Perhaps you misread it, that's fine - we all make mistakes. But still ... why is this error in the Bible?
[okay, I didn't actually ask that - but reading between the lines here ...]

2) Why didn't God prevent a false translation in the Bible? You said that he wouldn't allow any errors in the Bible.

I'm not questioning whether or not the Bible is the word of God or not, just establishing that - because of human error - it contains errors. I'll get on to the deeper theological debate once we've passed the first milestone of accepting that regardless of whether God exists or not, the Bible, divinely inspired or not, is primarily a human creation which contains human errors.

Does it really? Does it make any more sense than saying Adam made God out of dust? Or that Adam made God from his own imagination?

Surely a country as insular as North Korea is the safest set of hands to have nukes. Much better they are in their hands, than to fall into the hands of some kind of rogue state with a record of invasions and bombings in every continent. Thank heavens that hasn't happened yet!
