Since we're nit-picking the legend, there should technically be a comma after "Each line is a continent" in the first sentence.

                  Final Forge

---The Going Underground Map has reached the ā€˜Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. There will be two days for you to post any objections; if no one has posted any protest after two days the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. If after two days there is still discussion going on it may continue until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

And to throw this out there...

---If we are going to nit pick wording, perhaps change the 'but it was pedronicus and max the gr8 who first had the idea' ;)

To something like "Based on an idea by pedronicus and max the gr8" or "Original idea by pedronicus and max the gr8"?

Could it just be changed to "Pedronicus is in some way responsible for a new map, nyah nyah nyah"?

the map on the previous page has had a few more tweaks since it first went up, aimed at making stuff clearer. Mainly the guide box & the credits... do they work?
I know it looks a bit confusing, but hopefully people will get their heads round it if they try it (like the crossword map), and if they don't, it's just a map they can avoid...
Personally I can't wait to try it!

No. No no no!

Ahem. Sorry. Pet peeve of mine. In Latin words, the -us ending does not turn into a -ii ending when forming plurals. (I want to say "ever", but there's a counter-example to everything, so I won't.) The -us usually changes to -i, or sometimes to -us. And some words don't have plurals in Latin (like "virus"). Of course, since we're not actually speaking Latin, the plural of "bonus" should be ... "bonuses".

Now back to your regularly scheduled map thread!

For the "interchange" note, I'd drop the "also" and turn "eg" into "e.g.".

ug, just realised that adding more space at the top means I've got to redo all the coordinates :x

in case anyone missed it, here is the (hopefully) final version of the map.
I'm fairly sure this is the one the xml coordinates will relate to...
Any tweaks to make?

Other than the wording in the bottom... not much

---Though it'd be nice to see an XML image to make sure the coordinates are centralized in their circles, and to make sure they all fit, etc. You know.

That first comment is spoken as a foundry member, not as the foreman, right?

does the '...' not sort that out for you?
does it bother anyone else?

how do you generate an 'xml image'? I've often wondered that when browsing others' ideas... is it created when you use one of the map making tools?

The "..." is good enough for me, but I dunno for Andy.

You know the coordinate tester at http://www.conquerclub.com/mapmaker/index.php that displays your map with numbers on it, as if it were in a real game? Andy's suggesting that you post a picture of that, so we can see how it looks.

Yes, the first comment was just simply as a Foundry member. Wording it a different way I thought just would help make the map even more professional looking.

As for the latter, that was Foreman talking. ;)

I just need to make the circles for the stops bigger, so that the army numbers fit more comfortably, unfortunately the vector file is on my flash drive, which I left at work... which is why this: Image is a map of my male brain
Thanks Jota for the xml help. It all seems to be tickety-boo!

Alright, get the new ones up soon then. Also, how is your small graphic? Post a link to it also, along with a regular large image with XML on it.
