Rather, my point was that you seem to be unable to get beyond the conservatism-vs-liberalism dichotomy, as if everything must be broken down into those terms. I'm not saying that JS should've got hammered over this or that. I'm not even saying that RO or CH should've necessarily got hammered. The point is the double standard that exists. Public figures that are conservative have targets on their backs.
