Wrong

You're right, I beg your pardon. I've corrected it. Thanks for pointing out my error.

I'd be a great choice, except that I would probably have had a few, and I refuse to drive in that kind of condition. I wouldn't even have brought my car.

Then again, if I did have my car, I would be an excellent choice because I would have remained sober, and could provide a very safe and comfortable ride home in my luxury sedan. I wouldn't even try any funny stuff either. My back seat is too full of CD's and advanced corporate accounting text books for it to be usable in that manner, anyway.

A car back seat full of advanced corporate accounting text books is, I'm guessing, your euphemism for a seedy crime lab.

No, I was being completely literal, except for "back seat". That was a euphemism.

HAHAHA I knew how I would handle Nag and Neitze's responses, but I admit yours was a wild card to me.

Nag will say "nah mate, I probly sling more slags than you anyways!" and then we would square off our machismo and take turns one-upping each other for female attention, but just settling for the drunkest hogs in the place at the end of the night and then joke the next morning how we slayed the beasts.

I definitely would be far too hammered myself to drive anyone home.

I was once so drunk that my friends decided they couldn't continue the night to their natural conclusion point when no one got lucky (a titties bar) because I would probably have them kicked out, they didn't want to take me to my apartment because somehow I was still wired (I still believe that the foam in which I danced -- tho I don't dance -- had something in it) so they decided they will drive me around until I fall asleep in the car. Somehow they were talking on their phones and I got out of the car and they couldn't find me afterwards. I ended up in jail for 3 days. Had to pay a lawyer and had to beg an idiot not to press charges for trespassing.

That's what I would do to Scotty if he chose me, I'd drug him and leave him somewhere dangerous.

Based on these two polls, I am viewed as one boring motherfucker.

Dude, telling people that I couldn't drive them home seems to have put me way up in the poll for a person they would want to drive them home.

Vote Sym, I guess?

I voted Andy (everyone knows that they don't serve alcohol to chimps), TGD (he could lawyer his way out of charges if he got stopped while drinking and driving) and Timmy (Maritimers have a natural innate ability to drive well while drunk).

Yes, but my grandfather on my mother's side was a vulcan, hence my at least passable grasp of logic.

I'm going to choose TGD. He seems pretty responsible.

Thanks, but I've been drinking since 4:30. It's now 8:30. Just saying.

I've found that the best person to drive me home after a night of drinking is someone who has had nothing to drink. Good luck finding one of those people in this crew.

the only real difference between a romulan and a vulcan is a matter of philosophy... the latter seeks to rid himself of emotions to become better, the former seeks to harness his emotions to become stonger

which in a way actually explains the ale

Correct. It was a philosophical split against Surak when the Romulans left.

Yeah guys, I will not enter into a debate about Star Trek, I am way too ill equipped. :)
I used to watch the old show and I love the movies because one of my parents loved it and I like to borrow the TNG episodes but as far as the intricacies of the races, my knowledge is very limited.
The ale comment was thought provoking I must admit. What a cool concept, Star Trek. Btw, I hate star wars for the most part. Think of the debate that last declaration would start!
LLP,
FT

P.S. - Woodruff, considering all this information, have you ever considered switching teams?

that's ok, I think woodruff and I can cover any gaps in your trek knowledge... I grew up watching ToS and TNG, and my wife is almost obsessed with Q...

edit: just for you FT
