Yes actually, but it's not pronounced with two t's like "slut" is in english, it's pronounced as it's spelled, with one t.
You can also bend it and say "sluts" and mean closing or shutting something. "The bag "sluts" by itself" is a valid sentence. PƄsen sluts av sig sjƤlv.
PƄsen means "The Bag", Av means "By", Sig SjƤlv means "Itself".
Next in my series of strange translations... the word 'Famine' (extreme scarcity of food) has the following translation in German:
