Also, are you planning on returning the P.George - Edmonton connection?

A few things. A. What's the deal with Maritimes, I really cannot follow what can and can't attack what. B. Mountains look too much like a smoke pillar. C. Blue blends too much with sea. D. Yellow and Red are a bit dull.

A. they are the same as the current map.

B. I will see what I can do. What is your suggestion. How to make it look better?
C.Should I darken the water or the land?
D. Suggestions?

Yes I just forgot. What would everyone like to see. Is the arrow OK. It did not get a warm reception in my previous version.

Suggestions.

I decided I am going to try and not have army circles. Just like the current map.

Thanks everyone. Please give your opinions to the above issues and I will try to accommodate them with the next update.

I don't have an issue with arrows in principle, just the particular one on the 1st map.

As for the connections, to PEI, it seems that one would almost assume they COULD attack, rather than vice versa. I don't think the shortness of the attack rout is a problem.

D. Maybe you can make the areas near the borders more colorful and bright than the inner part of the country.

I will get to work on this with in the next few days.

Other than the readability of the numbers, are there any other issues?

Wm, can you flip flop the name "Regina" and the coordinates? So 3 digits don't over lap the name.

the borders in BC are kinda hard to distinguish especially the one betweeon george and vancouver. if there weren't the terit names i wouldn't have known there is a border there.

aside from this and the hard to see army numbers i get a lot of pixelization in some of the borders. but i'll post more on the pixelization issue when i get home and look at the map on my display. (i'm at work now so i'm not sure if it's the map or the display)

I agree with DiM's comments about B.C., I was noting that also. I don't seem much pixelization, but perhaps the borders could be darkend ever so slightly.

As for the armies being hard to see...that is one of the areas I disliked about the original. I'm not sure how nice gray/white army shadows would look (or even if they would fit), but it might be something to look into eventually if there seems to a problem in readability.

OK here is a version that uses the cloud cover of the earth to help show the army numbers. It is less intrusive than actual army circles but still does the same job in the areas of concern.

WM...just a comment on something in this new update above...Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Rgina and Winnipeg seem to have some ghosting happening on their terts. I don't this this is cloud cover, but i could be wrong.

Also, some of the tert names appear blury wheras most others are not....Nord Du Quebec, Nunavik, Kenora...can you advise on that please. :)

Is it feasible to increase the size of the tert font x 1?

OK
1) I got rid of the ghosting behind the Prairies territories.
2) I enlarged the font +0.5 and adjusted the space between the letters slightly. I think it reads better.

Anything else?

You might want to cut down on the cloud cover over British Columbia... it's hard to see Victoria and the line between Vancouver and Prince George is a bit obscured, especially close to the coast.
