WL_southerner wrote:they will fit if you think about it where spin put the numbers dont mean thats where they will be going
be using the area where there are no numbers for the army numbers has in the other crossword and using the tab idea it will give more room where needed we could also make a few smaller boxes that little bit wider in places or even run a tab in to the black area to take the army numbers but its still early days yet lots more work to do on it yet so keep ideas coming in

WL_southerner wrote:dim let me do this in baby step for you
step 1 if you look along the top row it contains 5 little boxes that make up up that line if you look closely there are 2 boxes that do not have other numbers in them the 3 figure army numbers can go in to one of them there for the middle of the 3 figure army number can be center then
WL_southerner wrote:step 2 the idea of the tabs was to help it make it more user friendly and doing so it will give more usable space to allow if needed for the edge of the army to lap into
WL_southerner wrote:step 3 where needed the black space can be use more so for the down lines or maybe we can run the army number down ward which might it user friendly ummm some thing to think about and try it see what it looks like
WL_southerner wrote:well by agreeing with second step you have agree on the first step
WL_southerner wrote:step 3 i dont think it would look bad no more than the maps that use the sea or mountains boarders to give them that little bit more room
i all so said about running the 3 figure army numbers down wards witch it might make it more user friendly that is some thing to look at and see what it looks like
for every problem there an answer it just a case to find the answer that all
WL_southerner wrote:yup like that down wards it may or may not work some thing i have to look at and see what it looks like then do a rough drawing to put up in here
it would be diffrent
umm another idea for you to ponder about what if it was not squares but rings
WL_southerner wrote:just an idea it would of been diffrent if i could be done

Show us a map with only 2 digits that are pulled against the side of the square...I'm not sure if it will look good...also I don't like the bonus of the inner continent...it's only worth 8th like the little ones while it's more than 10 territories bigger...
