maniac what i am saying is , you deserve the points. when everyone is playing you can expect certain things but when one misses a turn, you dont know if its because he couldnt get on or is deadbeating leaving you in limbo. Ive seen it said there is no skill in beating a deadbeat. There is nothing further from the truth.
1. you dont know if the guys is coming back or not - not only do you have to defend if hes near you , because he may get two or three times the guys, but you also have to worry about they guys on the other side of him.
2.have you ever lost 10 guys taking a deadbeats country to get through. This sucks.
3.lets say the deadbeat had 10 guys on nafrica and someone owned samerica. -your screwd because you thought he would attack it.
4.i feel that a deadbeat is a deadbeat period. noob or no noob
its simply easier to play when everyone plays it out. so i feel that you deserve the extra points for putting up with it. its not like your talking about 60 points either unless you really need them at the most it would only be 20 points or way less anyways in most cases.
As for your comment Kyle, I don't see how this change would affect the partner recieving the territories.
kwolff wrote:well, i would say around 65/35 your way on that . maybe there would be away that if a new recruit didnt play at all then no points(the way it used to be , but for only noobs) , becase it would be same as a nuetral. But if they deploy somewhere its an unfair to who ever was trying to take that country. This would be the way to go.
but it still has gameplay changes that you are not getting maniac lol
when u start a game out do you not look to see who might be battling who over spots , and yes it can go both ways , its just you should earn points for say, overcoming the obsticals , hoops , whatever you want to call it.
anyway whatever works, just showing both ends of this

like someone said , its suks waiting , you forget what you were doing in the game strategy wise - take your first turn and three weeks later your like ohh yea i forgot about this one
not to mention like i said , they game starts on a friday and the noob misses the first two turns and before you know it boom hes taking you out. it doesnt sound like much but in a no cards game if your expecting a guy to deadbeat and he gets nine , its suks
i dont know about you but i count the person as coming back untill he turns neutral, i have had it happen too many times that i counted on them deadbeating just to get screwd
to go along with what some else said too , deadbeating all togeather should get split up maybe three , points per person playing that way it evens out on the scorecard as well this will not give anyone a huge amount of points from a deadbeat and aslo punishes the deadbeat.

Well, lesbian who is a new recruit has already won 2 games but has just miss a turn in Round 4 after making 3 previous turns. So, if lesbian does proceed to deadbeat ...I get no points for the time and effort that I've invested to build such a lead in this game.
This is certainly not fair as I will not be able to eliminate lesbian before being kicked out for missing too many turns. I do believe in this case, I should get lesbian's points.
Therefore, I suggest no points from deadbeats if they did not make any move at all or only 1 to 2 turn(s).
