[Maps] New Beta Maps: 4 Geometry maps!

Post by plurple »

Hello all I am happy to continue the bounty of maps this year with 4 new maps that I have been working on for a while now! They all make use of different parts of the transforms which work as conditional autodeploys or decays.

They are each on a different shape starting out from the simplest (in my opinion at least).

Geometry:Circle:

This map just adds one troop to every player owned territory at the start of the round. There are also bonuses based on connecting an amount of regions in each ring as explained in the map.

Geometry:Triangle:

This one is all about fighting for the corners of the map and once you have claimed the corner (with a stack of 6+) you can get a bonus of 1 deployed to all regions in the triangle of that colour at the start of your turn. Though you can bombard all of the corners from the center of the map.

Geometry:Square:

This is the only map of the 4 that is a conquest map you start in a number of the purple squares and can attack either the orange or yellow square, both of which gain 1 troop a round until they have 10 or more troops where they will shrink (so be careful leaving stacks around) and the aqua squares lose 1 troop a round until on 1 where they will grow. This one is probably the most strategic of the 4 and takes longer to understand/master.

Geometry:Hexagon:

This is my favourite of the 4 :D Each of your regions on your turn will look at all 6 of it's neighbours and for each region your team owns gain 0.5 troops and for each region the opponent team owns you lose 0.5 both rounded to the nearest whole number (hopefully understandable when you play)

Please let me know what you think of any or all of the maps and the linked threads for specific feedback on the individual maps. I hope you enjoy the new maps and we will continue bringing you new maps that we hope you enjoy :)
